Nice flight . I found this and the assembly unboxing video helpful . i've got mine all assembled and tested but was concerned about that CG . I;m using the same Spektrum 4000 and found the CG best barely catching that first strap . Hoping to maiden it on the nxt sunny day 👍🏼🤠

Ha, I just put 3 batteries through mine this past Sunday. Forgot how nice it flies. Made me put this same receiver in my FMS version. It flies sweet too! AS3X is bad ass.

Great grass ops jet. I ended up selling mine to a friend. It's a great plane but compared to the FMS I found it wasnt really that necessary.

Ok.....so the A-10 smoke's a little grass, but the rugged landing gear keeps it standing straight so you can't hardly tell. AirHammer out!!

Man, I need to get me a tank buster. They are so cool. The real thing isn't as fast as the fighter jets, but they make up for it in fire power and stability. I've always liked the A-10, but there is a few other jets I like more. I'm also really starting to like the F-4 Phantom from Freewing as well. This airplane stuff is gonna drain my bank account. Lol. Although, just like surface RCs, it is well worth it. Thanks Pilot Ryan for the reviews on the various aircraft you do videos on. I appreciate it, but my bank account doesn't. Lmao. I seen a video of a newer STOL aircraft from Eflite. I can't recall what it was called for the life of me at the moment, but the entire fuselage and wings light up. I may have to get me one of those for when the sun goes down and I've not used all my batteries. Keep up the good work!

Glad you remembered to cycle the gear post landing cause grass ops is a killer on retracts as you know. To be fair thats pretty good grass you have there bud, but yea it handled it👍

I have a stupid question but I wander anyway has anyone ever hit a bird with an rc plane I couldn’t imagine it being very health for the bird or the plane lol

I’m loving my A-10 I won from Dave’s RC, this thing rocks, my 3300 packs make it flare even nicer and I get more vertical than with the 4000’s but it still flys great with either size packs

One of my favorite planes!!! I have the small one that is only 2S but it is fast too. Just no cool retracts, and, flaps. Built one years ago from a GWS kit. No brushless EDF’s back then. It was supplied with wimpy brushed motors. My buddy had one and it was cool but painfully slow!! Looked like the models used in the old Buck Rogers show from the 50’s!!! LOL!! It would fly so slow and powerless it would waver in the air rocking fore and aft!!!!! So I built mine with a 480 Brushless outrunner in the tail (3S-2100 mah pack)pushing a 11 or 12 inch prop!! It would climb forever!!! I fiberglassed the plane for grass landings, (if you remember those old GWS models were made out of that old cooler foam!!) they were very brittle and would break if you looked at them too hard!!! LOL! Man that plane was a gas!! No LG due to the big prop on the back, like I said, it would climb for days!! It was pretty fast too!!!

Ryan, if you had to choose between this A10 and the Eflite f16 Thunderbird which one would you pick?

I brought both this and the Freewing 64mm to the field, today. I flew them back to back. It was the maiden flight, for the E-Flite. I've been meaning to thin out the hangar a bit. Needless to say, I sold the Freewing. This new E-Flite is just that much better!

is it possible to fly with 4S ?

Is this a better constructed jet than the Viper for grass? Specifically in reference to the landing gear.
