I do think this is a better trainer. It depends on prior experience though as well. If someone has experience I think they might be better equipped to jump into the 6s arena rather than 3s/4s
@@michaelbrinkley9323 If you have experience with warbirds for example (like I did), definitely go with the 6s Viper. I have one and it is an absolute joy to fly.
@@michaelbrill6609. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with warbirds as of yet as I am relatively new to the Hobby. However I do see a red tail P-51 in my future. Captain Ryan did an amazing and convincing review of one sometime ago which I really enjoyed.
Michael Brinkley I got mine today and put one battery through it. It can fly slower than the Apprentice, has a better roll rate and is more stable with SAFE on. With SAFE off it is a bit more of a handful, but still manageable. I have some 6s jets, a Viper which ate my lunch and the A-10 which is a great flier. The Habu felt to me as if it will prepare you to fly anything. Maybe a bit underpowered on 3s, but that’s where you want to be until you get more experience. Highly recommended by this RC airplane rookie.
Great flying and an awesome looking plane 😍. 3am and the Old Man just finished watching with my coffee. Still cleaning up after the storm. My RC Airstrip is full of pine cones and limbs. Hope to finish today. UMX Habu has been RIP for about 5 years. Another addition to my want list now. Seams like every time you put out a new plane video the list grows. ✈️😎💝
