@jordansguitarchannel3809 well worth it man. Was worried since it's an actual esp, but the dude that did it, did phenomenal job here in Nashville. I feel like my bends are smoother than the original nickel silver.
NICE!! I would Black Beauty it and use it for Jazz and classic rock. I do have an E-II Horizon it has the best non custom shop fretwork I have ever seen.
Congratulations! I've got an EII FRX and it is, without doubt, the best guitar I've ever played. And I've played a lot. And you got a screaming deal, very jealous 🤑
That is a Jimmy Clip, it basically keeps the strings from ringing out behind the nut. I’m working on a video about this, but I can tell you the quality, playability, and setup is pretty much exactly the same. Both axes are great options, I’m already looking at a third E-II.
I honestly love them both. The 81 is great for thrash and any metal. The 57/66 is a bit more versatile but still retains the characteristics of the 81 with some passive nuances. Stay tuned I’m actually working on a video comparing the two with my two main amps.
