That deer was 100% hit, arrow deflected off the twig if you screen record it and slow it down its clear as day

What I would give to have land where I could pass on 3 and 4 year old bucks to let them grow and have opportunities to harvest them years later. Talk about sweet.

I had the same thought. I realize that we all get excited but come on. The buck taking a couple bounds and standing there should have been a GIANT red flag that the shot did not hit where he thought.

Sure wasn’t two heart shots. That deer was quartering to pretty good on the first shot. I bet he got one lung and liver. Glad he decided to put another arrow in him, that one probably caught the bottom of the heart.

Really loving the frenetic action this season, may be the best yet! Believe it or not, including so much footage of 2.5yo bucks really adds to the "rut drama" of the videos because it's something guys like me who don't live in the Midwest could relate with. In past years I wondered, do these guys even see two year olds? 😂

Oh trust us, we see plenty of 1, 2, and 3 year old bucks! They certainly help keep a guy interested while chasing a single deer!

@@MidwestWhitetailVideos yup, cool to see. Shows how even big bucks don't mind farm machinery. We had a guy at the farm running a sawmill on a regular basis. He had good intel on a big buck he frequently saw.

I watch these videos, very well done, some massive bucks that 95% of hunters would consider a once in a lifetime opportunity to see during season. I’ve hunted for 31 years, I guess I enjoy venison too much? After bow hunting for about 20 of those 31 years I still get jacked up to take a nice doe. I’d lose all interest if I limited myself to bucks like these guys take, public land in my area, is nothing like this. Thanks for sharing

@@williampipes7873 Slow the speed down to 25% and stop it at 12:28 and you will see a mark already on the deer, particularly if you blow the screen up. Start and stop the video through 12:30 and you will see the arrow fall just under the buck. It was a clean but close miss. Maybe a haircut at best. You can manipulate the video ysing the gear symbol with HD in red down on the lower right of the video.

Actually 12:23. The action is seen by starting and stopping at 12:29. There is a black splash at 12:30 in the area of the 12:23 mark on the deer, but a rapid 12:28-12:29 shows the nock going under the deer for a close but clean miss. If you only saw 12:30 it certainly would look like a good but slightly high hit, I agree.
