Great episode as always, but I want to shout out the discussion at 10:10 about first blood on the property they bought. Deer was a stud and that alone is great, but I absolutely loved the excitement that 2 buddies got to share about killing a monster on their own property. We all love a trophy and I am sure the hunt will be remembered every time they walk by the mount, but that trophy mount sure seems to represent a hell of a lot more than just a night in the stand in the middle of the rut. Nice work fellas.

What’s up with carrying stands in and out all the time? I’m guessing we just do that to show the mobility of our sponsor’s stand? Because let’s face it, on private ground with the amount of prepwork plus equipment sponsors, you ought to have every set ready to go...especially with filming equipment. I can understand sometimes when you’re in a chess match or fine tuning a new area, but the constant ‘hang and hunt’ in trees that we’ve all seen you hunt before seems kinda unnecessary

This is such a great question Bob! A lot of time our staff is going after a specific deer and we do a lot of hang and hunts to target the patterns of that specific deer. We have permanent sets in good places but sometimes you have to adjust! Thank you for the support!
