It’s almost like a full scale model kit! Paint the pieces and put it together. 😂 Do you plan to install the wiper linkage before the steering column? Might make things easier? Great work Bill, I couldn’t do it any better!

I originally made my power steering box from the 605 boxcutting a couple of teeth and using the lower part of the original box ... but may get one like yours when the time comes ... looks like you have the baerings a little tight ... they usualy say to spin the rotor while tightening till snug then back to the nearest keyhole ... don't worry about the finger ... you have nine more ...

Good video! Sorry about the Tri 5 Rash on your finger! ;) My rash involved a twisted wire wheel on a hand grinder, my shirt front and my belly! Tetanus shot, antibiotics, and lots of bandages. :) Next time I bet I remember to wear my leather shop apron!! :)

My ‘55 is also currently a 3-speed/manual car and will be getting this same power steering (and transmission!) conversion. Hope the body comes off today so I can get to work on the chassis. Great video{
