Moab is a special place that every dual-sport and adventure bike rider should experience. The size of your wallet, or you ability level, don't matter. Come with us on a little visit to one of our favorite places.
For those of you who don't know, we live a LONG way away from Moab in British Columbia. So, making the most out of each visit is vital to us. We use a combination of apps to find, navigate, and record our adventures. This real world testing is a vital component to testing of our own offering, That Moto App, and The GPS Exchange. Together we hope to help everybody find great rides, record their adventures so they can be relived, and to give folks the tools to share their great finds with others via The GPS Exchange.

Moab is definitely on my bucket list. Great video as always, looking forward to seeing the adventures unfold down there! I don't have it installed yet but have the same rear tire as Cosmo so pretty stoked to see it in action

Five of us northeast woods riders are flying out on Friday for our second ride vaca in Moab💥 We went last year and the place was mind-blowing... We're riding a couple different areas this time out, but we are going back to Kane Creek \ Pritchett since it was the fav. from the last trip and we all want to do it again..

The 690 probably the biggest bike I would take on those trails; lower the butt pucker factor a notch or two🙂

I just bought a 701, used, low miles. Bought a 48 tooth rear sprocket and a 120 link chain from Rockymtn m/c. On line someone said it is 8 mph slower with the 48 tooth. I can handle that. Instead of 18 mph in 1st gear I can go 10 as an example. That is how I'm looking at it.

Moab is incredible riding - great video. This might be a weird question, but what sunglasses are those w/the narrow 'arms' ?

Yes, they have pretty thin arms. I definitely have glasses that are not helmet friendly!

Lockhart is definitely easier coming from South to North, and of course on smaller bikes ;-) We stopped in that same shady sandy spot for a break under the trees. I just had my kids out there in a Jeep last October and the loved it. The scenery is like no where else and the riding amazing! Got a link to that 690 build? I normally ride a 2017 BMW R1200 GS Rallye, but have been wanting to find a replacement for my now gone 2010 KTM 530 EXC, and the 690 is high on that list! For me, that rocky spot where you turned around would be a 9 on the GS 😛

Thanks for the note. Funny you should mention a BWM 1250 Rallye as I have one of those as well and LOVE it! I really enjoy the 690. More than I though I would. I need to update my build notes a bit, but here is a link to the bike's profile. thatmoto.app/obi1gb6jKB

I couldn't find the Moto app for android but I did find the Rever App. Is that the one you're talking about?

You can access the website, and links to both the Apple and Android stores from www.thatmotoapp.com/. If you don't already have a code you can use Ride4Dylan. BC'ing ya!

@@underthedrone2735 If you are referring to The GPS Exchange, yes. We launched it on May 1st with mostly our own tracks, and those of some friends. We are in debugging phase. The rest of the functionality, however, is global with good participation from several countries other than Canada.

Thanks for the response. I didn't realize it was TMA on Google play. I found it and got it downloaded via the code in the video description. Thanks for the info, excited to use the app on my trip for the MABDR and PA Wilds @@thatmotoapp4823
