That’s so tough, Diablo is definitely one elusive buck. Must have a rabbit 🐇 foot necklace or something. So close within one or two steps. I probably would have taken that big 8 the next day and hope that Diablo made it through season for a reset next season. Pretty freaking cool encounters on the ground in the ghillie suit. I love hunting on the ground even though I don’t get encounters like that here in West Virginia.
