E2: Sitting on the Front Porch with Ralph in Greasy: I sat on the front porch with Ralph Robertson while he looks at pictures that him and his wife Magdalene took over the 24 years that they ran their country store there in Greasy Hollow. Make to SHARE the video with your friends and family.

I'm pretty sure old Ralph didn't have to eat much Campbell's soup ,with a wife and 6 daughters looking after him I'm sure he ate home-cooked meals every day.

I love hearing old stories. Especially when the people telling them sound like my relatives from Pike County, KY. This is great!

Well I have made it to my senior year’s. So I do appreciate the stories that Ralph is telling. I love Appalachia I love hearing the stories, your videos just the honest hard-working way of life. I would love to go visit all of those places but my health holds me back but I can visit by way of your videos for that I am very thankful. God bless you and your family keep up the work you are doing. By the way I do live in Southern Michigan. We’re getting ready for a cold cold winter this morning it was 27°.

These are so well done!! Thank you for taking the time to create all the nostalgic documentaries of times gone by. Even though we may not live in the state of TN, the old video clips from the 1960s in this one sure brings back childhood memories of those old stores!! How neat that Mr. Robertson filmed parts of his life and love that his daughter put together the hard copy photo album from all those snapshots her took!!

I bet that if they open up again, it'll run as if never missed 1 day of business. Sell all of the same items, coffee, cigarettes, beer, and some small household hardware, and it'll flourish like no other. Decorate it with old pictures of grandad, him and his wife and his old collectibles, tools, old gas pumps, coke machines, etc. Even though I'm all the way down south just 15 minutes south of New Orleans Louisiana and will probably never get to make my way that way. I pray that I see a reopening of this store I here on youtube.
