John Tobias was the creator of Mortal Kombat as a world, like, he wrote the book with the story and characters, he certainly deserves recognition, it saddens me it's so rare to see him in events regarding the game.

Silbergeist Mondschein From everything I've heard, he's an extremely private guy. Ed always gives him his due credit whenever doing press. That being said, would love to see him apart of this stuff.

I think it's like Jreed said, it's just that Tobias doesn't want to do these things where as Boon is in love with it and you can tell he enjoys doing them. Especially since Tobias is the one who left the MK team on his own to form a new company because he was tired of MK overall.

Mortal Kombat 2 was considered the best one out of all. I'd love to see a HD remake of MK 2

They actually have a remake like 70% done. They filmed everyone with high resolution cameras, and had demos around the office, but for one reason or another, they couldn't get the money to finish it completely, so they shrank it down to being the MK Kollection, which was the standard arcade ports. There's even images that popped up online a few years ago from someone who worked on it.

Glad you edited it. I was born in 1981 and played the arcade of MK1 for the first time in 1992. Those days were definitely amazing in the 90's.
