Hi Andy that looks awesome!!! What a nice looking car and great to see it driving. I’ve been on the shelve with this one as it’s just pitched as a display piece but a pleasure to see one in action. Hoping for the gold pan release. Best wishes and take care
Cheers thank you 🙏 I do really like the clear rc10 it’s very smart looking. If I’m Honest if you have a gold pan rc10 already just use that ;) but it was very cool to give it a blast outside on some grass ;)
It ran well out there but that is no surprise, it has the DNA of a champion! I would not have though to have gone pink with it but it does look cool! I am still 100% up in the air with what I am going to do for paint on mine but the translucent look is pretty cool!
Andy that's the last colour l would of thought of doing but Wow that looks stunning mate! Really thinking outside the box on this colour! Love it with the silver and clear parts! Best one l have seen so far my friend...well apart from the original boxart gold pan RC10! I too hope they rere that again! Need to save some cash if it does though lol. Lovely to see your RC10 run and it looks great out there! Super thing! Pop it on the shelf now buddy! Cheers James.
Love it Andy, i may get one from the next batch if there is plenty, cancelled my pre order as i got bored 😂 but if i get one, its getting thrown around the track 😎
It looks awesome with the colour, Andy! I'm not one for pink, but with the flake and the transparency, this looks lovely! And I'm happy to see you drive it, not just put on the shelf, ha ha! And like you, I would like to see they release a proper driveable version also, I would even add I wouldn't mind modern plastics and transmission and stuff...
Hey Dom hope your well , you can run it to be honest it probably stronger than running a vintage rc10. Problem is if you break it it’s getting spares and that’s why it’s recommended as a display piece
Awesome 👌 great to see it run I still regularly run my original gold pan with only a 19t brushed and it's surprising quick abd good on track and hoping to run it at revival When you mentioned the gearing it make me wonder have they changed the pitch ? Both my gold pans have 32dp gears , sound like it may have been updated with 48dp if you've managed to squeeze a 20something pinion in
Hi Richard the re-re’s as far as I’m aware all Use 48dp pitch gears especially this one :) can’t remember now either a 24 or 22 tooth pinion in a 81 spur
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 cheers Andy, that good news for me , I plan on building one as a shelfer but pinching some bits like gears and shock internals to help my gold pan runner and changing to 48dp gears would give me more options and smoother drive and potential be brave enough to try 13.5t brushless in one 👍
Hi, thanks very much, glad you like it. I’m running a Reedy Radon2 17t brushed motor on a 22t pinion or a 24t pinion can’t quite remember. I think the spur is a 81 tooth. Hope that helps :)
