1999 BMW E36 M3 with S54 (328 whp SAE5) at 2550 lbs with fuel and driver. 245/40/17 Hoosier A7 (1st event). First time competing with @globaltimeattack and it didn’t disappoint! Wasn’t expecting to be competitive, just wanted to have a little more pressure on me than usual to push me toward my 1:45 goal. Ended up getting 2nd place overall out of 53 cars though! Despite a differential that didn’t seem to be operating correctly, Patti Mayonnaise aka the Narrow Body Boogie Monster came out absolutely firing! Hit the target time on my 2nd lap Saturday morning and backed it up with another on my 2nd lap Sunday. Was actually going faster on Sunday but had to lift in Riverside after seeing an off in front of me so ended up being 2/10’s slower. Found some time in the data so hopefully after a few tweaks to the differential (ramping and preload) we can drop a little more time in December.
