Finally! Somewhere other than Buttonwillow! Round 11 of Bimmer Challenge took place at Chuckwalla, one of my favorites. With no practice day available before and never having driven chuckwalla with aero, I turned to the simulator to get in some repetition. However, this was no ordinary sim... Did it pay off?

The plug in for Chuckwalla is on Asetta Corsa. We usually do iRacing but this track is not available in it.

I can’t see your feet on the track. Do you do two peddle driving. Gas and brake with two different feet?

Yes, if a corner does not require a down shift I will use my left foot to brake as it saves the time of pulling my right foot off the throttle and moving over to the brake. Same goes for getting the right foot back to the throttle, losses time.

Stock S54 with Haimus airbox, SS stepped header and custom 3.5” exhaust.

My car would do terrible at COTA with all the long straights. Might make up a little ground in the esses but serious lack of top end makes it difficult in my car. Thinking about Ridge Motorsports Park with GTA though!
