Wow took a look today at my throttle cable its looser than a used butt hole ..so glad i kept binge watching thru ur playlist as i been writing down key tips on install sections
The metal grommet your have on your throttle cable thread adjustment, where did you get that?? My rubber one perished and crumbled and cannot find them anywhere!
When they press the gas do they have to press the gas pedal all the way down to where it makes that click sound or right before it makes the click sound. Like on my E36 my throttle plate is halfway open when I press the gas without the click button. Is this correct or does it need to be at halfway open including the click? And by click button I mean that button right behind the gas pedal
when you press the transmission kickdown switch (the button) the throttle should be fully open. when he pushes the gas pedal in the video, he is pushing it all the way to the floor.
Does this also affect cars with automatic transmissions ? because when my car wants to be driven at speed it can't reach 6000rpm. and my mechanics say u had problem with ur kickdown switch sensor so i replaced to the new one but it just still same is the cable throttle is got same way issue too with automatic transmissions ?
does it has like "rev limiter " at cca 5500rpm? if so its probably one of the speed sensors on wheels its an ABS probelm. sometimes just needs celaning of the sensor just got mine fixed and the ground cable was snapped. fixed for free
