E39 540i custom exhaust with wireless exhaust valve 

No, because my exhaust goes 2-into-1, so I only need one valve.

It's been absolute trash, it's actually funny how awful the valve was. I went through four of them and every single one failed, which was awful because then it was pretty much open all the time, as I think the teeth on the gears stripped themselves and it would just flap about. After the fourth one the supplier gave me his last vacuum-operated valve and that is fantastic - it works instantly and defaults to closed when you start the car. If you can find a vacuum one then get that. Otherwise I'd suggest going for one from someone like QTP because at least then it's been supplied by a UK company that should offer some sort of after sales support, rather than buying from someone on eBay in China with no follow up.

@@NeoNeko99 I'm really glad you replied so quickly because I'm ready to take the plunge. I might just go for a custom system to avoid the hassle and embarrassment of a valve stuck open all the time. Pipe Werx near me gave me reasonable quotes and have a good reputation. Cheers.

+Anthony Michael Honestly, I don't know. Zero Exhausts make each exhaust from scratch so there's no off-the-shelf option they have available that they could ship to you. I know they've made E39 540i systems before but I don't know if they've got a jig set up so they can make them to the same specs again. I take it you don't have any good exhaust shops near you?

+Anthony Michael Ah, that sucks. The valve shouldn't be difficult for a shop to fit to an exhaust, especially if you get one that's attached to a Y-pipe.
