Same car as me! First things i did were tint the windows, fix the comand knob, and blacked out the trim and emblems. I used hyperdip for the rear emblems though. It was super easy and I didn't have to remove anything.

I would do the silver Mercedes center caps like you mentioned but re-add the classic Mercedes hood Ornament. The back looks good, just needs a black license plate frame because that white plate is an eyesore. Maybe a rear window spoiler. Overall, pretty nice!

I have a set of the OEM 19 inch twin spoke wheels and tires sitting in my garage. They came with my 2013 e63, everytime I think about selling them I change my mind.

100% you need to tint those tailgates, they stand out like crazy on that all black car. Looks so much better with the chrome gone!

Looks awesome, I think you should Black out the grill for sure it will tie everything in but I would have the Wheels done in Gloss Black too.

I got the same car in July and did the command knob fix as well. I couldn't for the life of me get the connector unplugged so I ended up doing it while it was still in the car which was annoying. I see you removed the gear selector which was a good idea.

Hey man I just started watching your videos and it caught me off guard seeing my car pop up as one of the pictures. I thought that was so cool! Your gonna love it! Make sure those head bolts are done and keep an ear on those cam adjusters. But other than those it's a solid car. Check out VRP Speed for some headers for that thing!

Keep the Black and Silver look to it, I’d leave the OEM chrome badges and grill, do a paint correction but looks good, do carbon next and exhaust simple resonator, an secondary cat delete wake the beast up just a bit, I run the same setup on my 2014 C63

Great wheels man and a sweet car!! I would like to pause and say there's a huge safety issue that you are overlooking. When jacking up a car and removing a tire you should always have at least 1 jack stand under the car just in case the hydraulic jack lets go or slips. Just one jack stand can save your life. I was nervous seeing you looking under the rear tire with just a floor jack supporting the car. Your life will thank you if you need the jack stand just one time.

But I do have a question: Which car in your opinion is better? The W211 E55 or the W212 E63 with the M156? Which one do you like more or better? Of course, this may not sound like a fair comparison because the W212 is newer, has the better transmission and is obviously a NA engine, but which car do you like more, Performance wise? Kinda curious to know. Because: If I would buy a W212 E63, I‘d buy the E63 with the 5.5 turbo engine, cause this car has more potential Tuning wise. what pressure do you maintain front and rear in the tires. i too have the exact same 6.3 w212 prefacelift. Mine has 19's with 275 front and 295 rear.

The non face lift W212 is the best looking E63 IMO, more aggressive. You should think about lowering it, they still ride nice even in the stiffest damper setting. The dead space between fenders and tires has got to go. Nice job so far, will keep watching.

Did you buy new TPMS stems or swap over your old ones? The tire shop here won't do my S-Class backup wheels without the TPMS sensors since they say they have to install them if the car came with them from the factory due to federal law. What a crock. Wish those Advanti wheels came with silver center caps. If I couldn't find some Mercedes ones that fit I'd probably just get some silver wrap and cover the caps. Tint looks amazing. Same setup I have on my black W221 S-Class. I've been thinking about wrapping my window trim, lower door trim, top of door handles, and trunk lid and blacking out my grille.

Looks perfect, personally I would not have done front side windows and windscreen, horrendous for night drives let alone dubious legality (illegal here in Belgium and most European countries, so different legal regime I know)

Personally I think you should keep the chrome emblems just because they contrast with the wheels better than black would but its your car so your decision. But great start overall this car is a beauty excited for the future of it.

I have a W220 S65 AMG with 19 in Bi-Spoke AMG Rims and I hate to disappoint you those 20" ADVANTI REIN Rims look hideous. Nothing like the true AMG RIMS. Alternatively, the money spent on those knock off Rims would have easily restored the original AMG Wheels that you had. Some about the German engineering no amount of custom and aftermarket products can supersede the OEM. It's like they knew what they were doing. Study WABI SABI. A Japanese concept that embraces the hidden, underlying, unpretentious beauty and originality. Either way, despite our drastic preferences and differences I like your honesty and noble personality that's why I subscribed to your channel. I wish you well Chris. I will keep an eye out on the OEM 19" AMG Rims for you. I have come across two sets before, but not knowing the rarity, I didn't bother with them. Thanks again and don't let my harsh criticism deter you - you went with the best available option you had at the time.

If this was a Cadillac there would be people calling GM cheap because of the plastic selector switch but since it’s German engineering they get a pass!, just like the cam phaser’s oil drain back causing the rattling on start up!
