EA App Reinstall A Game Without Redownloading
In this video, I will show you how to add games to the EA App without having to download them again. If you already have an EA App game on your computer that is on one of your hard drives, then you can add the game to the EA App by locating them. We can locate games in the EA App Without having to download all the game files again doing the method I show in the video.
If there is a new update available for the game, then that will get downloaded when adding the game to the EA App.

It works. You just need to have the same available storage as the game. Let's say it's a 100g, you need extra 100 for the app to let you start with the download

Works like magic! I wish that I checked this video about a year earlier cause I had to delete the game from my pc and then redownload it again from EA, It was a 19gb game so that is just too much Anyways thank you! great video, straight to the point, also good quality

It only works with some games. It doesn't work with BF4 for example. When you did it on BF4, it showed ''23 minutes @ 15MB/s''. That's around 20GB, exactly the compressed size of BF4 without the DLCs. (the DLCs are on the download queue).

BF4 worked fine for me, followed everything in the video. Copied the folder from partners pc, copied the folder to where it was going to be installed, waited it to copy, clicked download and it verified all the files and was complete. Didn't download anything at all but it was an up to date copy.

No it works with every game, you have to locate the game in EA in the same place you have the game on your computer, but don't click on the game folder ofc, it'll take some time preparing and then voila it's on the EA

A lifesaver this is, if i had to reinstall them, especially be forced to update TS4, that would've been just total rubbish. And ever verifying just one game, made all other games show back up in my list too which was a nice thing too

I kinda just repair battlefield 5 after deleting some files that I think has something to do with steam 1 go get inside bfv folder 2 delete files but the folder and game launcher 3 restart EA then repair bfv 4 lmao 5 I get banned for no reason lol

This didn't work for me with Star Wars Jedi Survivor. It's trying to download 130GB all over again, which is a shame because my mom's internet says it will take 19 hours to finish the download. This doesn't work for all games.

Hey mate so I tried this with Apex and it doesn't work I have been trying to get this to work for so long and no one can help me its so frustrating that I cannot access my Apex coins unless I launch the game via the app when its already installed on Steam I feel so scammed.

unfortunately you need the available space required as for the download, else setup will not allow you to proceeed

It replaced the original files and started downloading from the beginning and now I lost my files because I didn't copy my game files I just moved it inside EA folder. shit man I shouldn't have moved whole folder because this method didn't work for me...😢

steam files may be different than ea or origin ones. this would only work with origin or ea downloaded ones. steam is different.

this is not helping sorry (i am trying to shorten the timeing on the downloading ) but i didn't have any files already in my computer from last time i downloaded (sims4) the game in EA so now im just going have to wait....(333hrs)
