How To Fix EA App Crashing / Won't Launch | EA App Not Working 2023 

Win 7 64 and original Electronics Arts folder dated October of 2014. EA did not give me a choice and installed the EA App and it was crashing on start. Installed the most recent C++ to no avail. Renamed the folders like you showed and voila! Thanks!😁

yeh, I have the same problem, i contact the support, but they don't have any answers, I'd like to play, but EA won't let me play

@@bielitin9108 same here, each time I turn the WiFi on the EA KEEPS asking to sign in to my account even after clicking the 'remember me' option, I used to play sims 4 offline because I've set it as offline mode and also I had to set the EA app as offline mode in order to get it to launch my sims 4 game. But now, I can't do it offline, online, or any line at all, its so frustrating man.

I promise you it's not you being a novice, it's EA being too lazy to fix their terrible and lazy "attempt" of a game launcher. It's laughable how little effort they put into anything they do.

How do I install it again in epic games? In other games it tells me to uninstall, but in fifa it doesn't. Also in the settings it says MANAGE GAMES and it has all the games I have installed except FIFA 23

hello I can understand and relate I have been trying to launch my EA app all evening with no luck the EA app keeps telling me the same thing i am not connected to the internet I have no connection but my internet is on and working plus the app keeps telling me I'm in offline mode I haven t been able to play sims 2 earthier its so frustrating I'm trying to follow this video even had a friend try and help me with the EA app please what helped you ?

@@christianroy5663 Yes, more luck than design. I was thinking about playing andromeda anyway. I downloaded it and Legendary started working again.

@@jamesabernethy7896 Weird. I've tried so many different things I read about or was recommended to do. Running and not running as admin, using a different Windows account, clearing the app cache, reinstalling the EA App and the game, using a VPN, changing the language of the client, etc. I feel like the problem is that there is a licensing issue with a lot of games since we were forced to move to the EA App. I read an error log after a failed download and it talked about not finding a game ID for entitlement. Some people on the EA forums have said they got an EA tech to simply remove the affected game from their account and re-add it and that's how I came to this conclusion. Right now I'm waiting on someone from their tech department to fix my issue after it was forwarded to them after I had a live chat session with someone. Maybe I'll finish downloading a small-sized free game and then try and re-download the game.

Same only with Sims 4. None of this works.

@@ALAMO_GREEN i bought nfs heat and I can't play in this because ea launcher starts only with steam when i launch nfs payback by steam. When i logged in EA this launcher literally turns off :)))

@heavenlycars86 got it to work delete all EA licenses then re launch game

try this , , I found a fix that works, every time I try to start the game the program crashes and that's when I got the idea to install the old program, log in to both and then play from steam and it will work, for any information I will gladly help you

@@rcfflorin5738 Thanks for the help. I am using the xbox game pass app to launch it since I don't own bf 2042 on pc. When you said the old program, do you mean origin?

I am having the same issue as you. Played it a few years back through Origin. Was forced to switch to EA app & now it won't launch. Very frustrating.

The option to re-install origin is not available anymore. I don't know what else to do.
