What stuck out to me the most is Kirk at the start saying “Everyone’s favorite mode: Dynasty Mode.” That shows me the care and the purposeful decision to not pander to only ultimate team.

College Football 25 is being made by a different division of EA and a good part of the time was hired from the people who made the update mod for NCAA 14

Joe, I do want you to know the ESPN license is no longer with EA. They came out and said that they decided to move away from the ESPN license because they wanted more creative decisions and apparently ESPN restricts them with some regards (idk if that's just a line they are giving but still)

Gameplay video literally looks/plays exactly like Madden. The presentation looks better, but we're getting next gen Madden with a college skin.

I said in another video and I gotta say it again. Since we can't edit player names, I'm loving the fact they actually put some effort into unique player names. EA finally added some african, Polynesian and hyphenated last names and the new face generator matches most of them from what I saw. It really helps make the recruits feel alive. Madden has a more random and basic name generator so I'm glad its not the same since their info can't be edited. The small things can go a long way.

How can Angry Joe call the 12 team playoff format a gimmick when its literally happening in real life.....

I'm as big a skeptic of EA football as anybody, but the choreography in these pregame/post turnover shots looks incredible. Looks like real people running around celebrating, not the stiff jankiness of prior games.

At 12:30 I don’t think that’s in the game. It’s likely a reference to a play that actually happened in the past between those two teams. Mo Bamba was playing, audience was loud, and Michigan had a penalty for not snapping the ball.

I was pumped when they first announced this game, the first ncaa football game in 11 years! But then I remembered the Battlefield fuckasco, and as the release date nears, my excitement has dwindled. I'm going to have to wait and see with this one, unfortunately.

Yeah, that Penn State-Michigan gameplay is directly referencing the real game that happened at Beaver Stadium a few years ago, and that exact song was playing. Michigan got the ball first, but the crowd was SO DAMN LOUD that the offense couldn't hear the snap count and they had to call a time-out before a second even ticked off the clock.

usually in football they promote what colors to wear since there is so many, will give student sections free shirts. Basketball they will give out free shirts in the seats and hopefully you wear them.

I know nothing about football (NFL, European football or homegrown Aussie football) but I will watch the review regardless because they always throw out some of the funniest and angriest moments on this channel.

The only thing that sucks, we can’t start in high school gonna miss rushing for 8,000 yards increasing my stock.

The real issue with ANY sports game is they should be on a 2 yr cycle and maybe every year between the game versions release a cheap under 10 buck DLC that put in new players and minor changes. I would not mind giving them a 10 buck on the 2nd year of a game IF they busted there ass and made a great game and for me to see new players in the game.

Remember they have to be feature loaded initially to take them out and add them back later as "new".

It's a good thing that this will create competition within EA sports. It will come down to who makes the better football game leading to more sales and happy customers. Madden has been full of glitches, bad physics and AI for way too long!

Fingers Crossed the improvements in this game come to Madden 25. We'll never get another game like 2K5 but we can hope

They need to bring back light and heavy weather, I dont get why that is so slept on but man light and heavy rain or snow use to make the difference in Dynasty/Franchise modes. It been missing for years every rain and snow game feels the exact same and its kinda ass..

Looks fun but I will wait for the reviews 1st before thinking of buying it.

you can preorder the Deluxe Edition if you don't want madden. The Deluxe Edition gives you the same perks as the MVP edition, just with out being packaged along side madden, and since EA already confirmed we can't export draft classes from College Football to Madden, some licensing issue between NIL and NFLPA, why would we want both?

Dynasty & career modes alike are the whole reason why people got into sports games in the first place. When you get back to prioritizing THAT instead of random card packs, it's amazing how much attention you garner (to the point people are actually buying new consoles for this game alone)

I am very excited for this game! I think what would be great for some more reassurance on the game is read the deep dives for dynasty and sights and sounds. Dynasty deep dive is 17,000 words and sights and sounds is 8,000. Would make for a great video to see yall react and read it. Video or not I think it would make you guys even more excited. Seems like EA needed this to get back to making great games. And you never know, this could be the start of something great.

I'm so excited for college football to be back and I feel like it would be hard for EA to fck this up... Please don't fck this up EA...

People need to realize that the madden devs and NCAA devs aren’t the same. NCAA football has always been a better game overall because of the tiny details and gameplay features. People saying copy and paste are probably born after 05 😂

Other Joe, "ahh it's NCAA". Thankfully it's not, without NCAA telling them what they can and can't do the devs are able to do what they want. Much of the detail that people complain about like no helmet removal tackles and not having dynamic stadiums come from NFL.

Sports games never usually excited me due to everything being locked up behind paywalls. Though I am interested in seeing the Marching Band stuff, gonna bet its the same 5 songs and the announcers are going to be speaking over it the entire time.

No, they didn't "show you" the nitty gritty. They told you about it. They didn't actually show you how any of this plays out in the dynasty mode.

This is the first sports game I've been interested in buying in a decade. Very excited to play NCAA again. I will completely ignore Ultimate Team (I tried it briefly in NCAA14, and that's all I needed of that trash mode). I'll make my own school/team for use in my Dynasty, but on real gameday, GO CANES!

If they make it like NCAA 14 for the first game I wouldn't be upset at all.

This looks pretty good, not going to lie. The unfortunate truth is that Madden will still make EA more money because of MUT, so I'm not too optimistic about this driving change in that.
