Why did you do a comparison with Ps5 from kick-off and passing???? you should of done it between FIFA 23 and fc 24 on switch or is the lag the same? and you had to use the ps5 to show there is a different?

At least FC 24 on switch is better than FIFA 23 Legacy edition on switch. I honestly don't mind the 30 fps cap of this game since I played FIFA 13 on the psp before which was also 30 fps cap so it's fine

It’s actually a good game on the switch and plays well only problems I’ve heard is the leg on FUT within a match

How do u fix the cutscenes? Like the ones when u sign players because for me they’re just slide images but I want the real cutscenes

Look, I hate the fps as much as the next guy but I’m just thankful that they took the effort and time to update this game so you can hate it but I love playing this game.

Thank you for showing detailed performance information! This was the exact video I was looking for. 30 FPS was almost a deal-breaker for me, but hearing it's an *inconsistent* 30 absolutely shuts the door. I can't deal with imprecise and erratic inputs when playing a sports game.

I have both FIFA 22 and 24 on switch. I just got 24 today, then very soon I just realized I must abandon 24, because it's so slow and delay on switch which feels terrible. now I stick with 22 on switch or consider buy the Xbox or ps5 just for playing FIFA

as long as you're not a professional gamer or somewhat, the fc24 gameplay reviews i've seen looks good. i just wanna play and have a better experience, i dont care if it takes 0.19 framerates to pass the ball

It’s very personal but it’s so good for me, sure I could get the full version pc but like I’d rather take my games on the go, commuting to class and playing on the excercise bike at the gym. And guess what, the steam deck version barely works, so the switch is the only real portable version. Ofc the steam deck is more powerful but it just doesn’t run good from the videos I’ve watched. Also I’ve played lots of games at 30fps and it’s no issue for me, helped by geting able to overclock my switch so it’s locked all of the time. And lastly I’m a footballer myself and I personally don’t mind the input delay because I enjoy needing to react to the players and movements before it actually happens, it’s like improving technical game sense through simulation(wonky but it’s true😅) I’ve played the game for only a few hours after having only played the legacy games on switch and I can already win games in legendary diffcult against better teams, it’s fun to need to react later to attackers so I can learn to anticipate their rhythm while defending. My biggest issue with this game is that the menu selection is terrible and I hope they fix that or a mod comes out for me. But for me this is already 100% worth it and a HUGE step up from the legacy stuff. People can not buy it but if this is the last year of switch then I’m happy with got this than getting another legacy game, if people don’t like it they can choose not to buy it

Remember the switch is from 2017. Everyone complaining is just silly. Of course it’s going to be less visually than other platforms. Switch is a handheld that can be docked. Reality/ expectations are lost on this generation

Finally we get an "almost" proper football game and you rant... It even costs 20$ less than the other versions. Hopefully a lot of people will ignore this kind of take. 30fps is never a real problem unless you have some eye problem or play competitive matches against people that run the game at higher framerate.

I was really excited for this but i’m really disappointed with this game on the switch. Agree that the frame rate and drop in graphics makes it unplayable. I thought it was just me, especially as most of the reviews say how good the game is…… I’m gonna stick with EA FC on the PS5 and games like Zelda etc on the Switch.

There is the absence of the ball-like flag during UCL on switch

6 frames of delay isn’t going to be a noticeable difference to playability. It’s like the developers cannot win if they have a successful franchise. For years fifa players have been crying for realistic, slower gameplay without the skidding and weightless behaviour of players and this time we actually have a game that’s slowed right down and is much more cerebral and everyone’s losing their minds. Notice that the same complaints regarding input delay are put forth by PC and console players too. Lads basically just want a skill spamming simulator where they can blindly pass the ball 180 degrees with 100% accuracy and discover some stupid meta to exploit

So far no updates. I still play FIFA 22 because the gameplay is so smooth. FC24 is too slow and I hope they fix that soon.

You gotta relax bro 😂 it’s far from a disaster you are simply not used to 30fps which is totally fine when you normally play the game at 60. WWE 2K18 was a disaster on Switch but FC looks totally playable

People got what they wanted, a slow game with all the content instead of a limited content 60 fps fun game. What are people expecting when these games are being developed for a handheld device that cannot give you modern console like graphics. I was happy with the legacy edition because I know and understand the limited capabilities of the Nintendo Switch, I kinda would've wished NBA 2K too the same route. Now this FC 24 game isn't even all in the cartridge because people wanted all the content and better graphics.

If you all have a pro controller for the switch it works much better for controls

To be honest, all the Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch with the Ignite Engine they are good in 60 fps, the rest are an total waste of time and so boring. EA Sports Fc 24 even though 30 fps are awful, that's better concerning the animations and celebrations mainly Volta mode.

Im glad to see someone calling it out. I think the game feels TERRIBLE so far 😕 Im trying to give it a chance because I was excited that we qere finally moving away from the legacy editions but it plays horribly. Response times are so poor, something which is especially noticable when defending. I wouldnt even say its an exaggeration to suggest that it probably takes more than a second for atanding and slide tackles to execute after pressing the button. Its insanely poor and makes it almost impossible to do a well-timed tackle. Defending is simply a mess all round, sadly. Add to this the fact that there are game modes that dont work (Online Friendlies and Practice Arena at least) and its just embarrassing.. and I haven't noticed it being brought up anywhere online yet. I was concerned after playing the beta but so far it is worse than I ever imagined. I pray it is improved with future updates but I'm not holding my breath..

Consumers are guilty. You literally fund the outdated console and games, instead of forcing Nintendo to release a more capable hardware.

EA Fc 24 on Switch is so bad, compare to Legacy Edition Ice skating gameplay, broken Legacy Defend, your player can not pressing even you press X button so hard 😅 Slow and sluggy when navigate throw menu, even in cutscene, when cutscene with manager, it look like slideshow, not actual cutscene, and FPS drop hard. Dribbling is way easy, yet unrealistic compare to Ignite engine from Legacy Edition. 30FPS for EAFC
