Great testing, dude! 😊 About the latency with the smartphone, I guess it depends on the smartphone used. On my old Galaxy Note 4 (RIP) it was pretty fast! Now on my new one (Galaxy J Pro, something like that) it's horrible. 😕
Im getting my first fpv tiny whoop, can't spend much so i went for the eachine e013, i spent the day wondering if it would be manœuvrable indoor with an otg receiver?! Now i know !!! Thank you alot. Now i need to find an affordable fpv monitor.
Gal Kremer thanks for the advice, the vr006 comes with only 500:300 screen, seems too small, i am thinking about the eachine rc832 receiver plugged to an old monitor.
Hi, nice review, the latency test especially. I just ordered the rotg01 pro. The video resolution is 640x480 if i'm not wtong. Is it really that bad? I mean comparing it to 800x400 fpv googles for example. Thanks.
Hi Gal, great little review I bought the ROTG01 and then found out it did not support audio, so I just rushed out and got the ROTG01 Pro version. I still can not get audio from my phone, is that correct have you tested it or do I need to use the AV connector to get audio out. Many thanks Alan
im just going in to fpv with my very first whoop, and im just thinking if the eachine 006 goggles which comes with 013 whoop would be a good choice or better go for ROTG01?? thank you
I assume this PRO hooks up to a PC identical as the previous version, like you did in the earlier review? Is that with one of the provided cables, or do you require a separate cable (to regular USB)?
@@KremerFPV Is there anything I can do like install a driver or something? I cannot get a video signal out of this thing (win10 desktop and laptop, tried with nch, vlc, obs... and I also tried android with the app they link on banggood). I'd really appreciate if you have a hint!
@@KremerFPV thanks for your answer! Yes, i tried various different usb cables. Somehow i have the feeling my device might be broken... It is recognized as USB 2.0 Camera, but I only get either a white or black "image"; i cannot access the device setups (eg in vlc) and nch sais eg "no valid webcam found" when i select the recognized USB 2.0 Camera... :-(
I recently ordered the non pro version but I don't feel bad having it on the way since it seems the same. I don't have need to record audio. I was told that a phone's recording quality should be better than the DVR quality in googles. Is that not true?
@@KremerFPV I got the standard one it and have tried it out. It appears to be as good as the Pro version from all I've seen. I like using it with my FXT Viper googles and recording straight to the Samsung S9. No problem, thanks for your instructional video. Good job.
Are you asking if this analog 5.8 ghz receiver will work with a phone that doesn't have 5.8 ghz wifi??? If so you are very confused...wifi has nothing to do with this setup at all. The phone needs OTG capability and have the Android O.S. and app (I use FPViewer) , and use an OTG cable to connect it to your phone (basically a cable that has data wies as well as power) and that is it, nothing more.
@@tarunks4500 Check the connection of your antenna, make sure that the VTX is not on pitmode and remember to set the VRX and VTX to the same frequency.
I hooked up the ROTG01 Pro with a cable I use to charge the Android Phone. The Go FPV app starts and recognizes the camera, but the screen remains black. In your video, it shows static and the OSD menu. Did you experience any issue getting the video streaming right away? (I made a video of what happens - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kP-YAZ1_Pj8.html)
