Eagle Products 0.7L Kettle. 

As a kid I was in the Marine cadets and we always used our squeezed out teabags to clean of the bottoms of our mess tins after cooking with them. I remember how it cleaned off the soot very well. The bags quickly split and the loose tea had a good gentle abrasive action. Our steel mess tins were always shiny enough to shave with.......had we been old enough to shave !

Nice little kettle, reminds me of the trangia. However little on the small side, they dont hold much. I use a very old one i got from asda years ago its 1.5 litre and has a whistle dome shaped. I like your kettle and you dont burn fingers on metal handles, so thats a good feature.

Coincidentally I had purchased one in early February.I have been enjoying it ever since - indoors and outdoors. It works well with wood fires, spirit burners, canister gas burners, Esbit tablets, and old brass camp stoves. The provided storage sack works to prevent the soot from getting all over one’s kit, although I may consider making a round storage pouch for it at some point in the future. David Friars Etsy shop also has some interesting pouches to consider. Antony, I think you’ll really like using this kettle with the TJM Fire Anchor you have. There is something viscerally very satisfying using it wild camping. I love vicariously participating with your bushcrafting journey. Thank you, and Cheers!

Saw this kettle on another site, did some research and I’ve just ordered one. Roll on April, end of lockdown and my birthday (59) and I’m off up the highlands with my new kettle to try it out.

Nice kettle and stove. I bought 3 of the 1.5 liter from Badger Claw in USA. He makes a awesome waxed canvas bag for it. I really doubt they are made in Norway. Heats fast more due to the wide base per height. My Scoutmaster had been Army, so all our pots had to be shiny! Put dish soap on bottom and sides of your pots before on fire. Especially when using pine or spruce. Washes off.

Looks great. I just picked up a foldable wood-burning camping stove to supplement my Trangia. In the good old days they recommended rubbing bar soap on pots to make it easier to clean off the soot. Is that still a good idea? Shame to blacken a beautiful kettle like that.

I like the design but as with all of these small tea pots the hot lid likes to burn you trying to get out the last bit of water.

I hate soot, It ruins all the new nice looking gear. I use a Trangia and I've gone from meths to meths with water to bio ethanol, and all the time soot!!!. Last week I got the Trangia gas burner and now soot free but I'm stuck with noise and not so easy to find gas cartridges. Another great video by the way, I'm a fan.

Looks a great kettle. I notice the packaging says "designed and developed in Norway". Is that a roundabout way of saying "made in China".
