HERE YOU WILL SEE THE FDNY BATTLING A FEROCIOUS MAJOR 6TH ALARM FIRE ON EAST 7TH STREET AND 2ND AVENUE IN THE EAST VILLAGE AREA OF MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY.
Greetings from dry Los Angeles. Whenever there’s a major FDNY job, I go to your channel JJ instead of the broadcast news - ha! Thanks for another great video.
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 My pleasure- and once the virus ends, I'd love to host you on my "JJ" - the John J. Harvey (I'm co-owner). FYI- I'm a lifelong buff, have attended hundreds of fires in NY, Boston, LA, etc., own 3 rigs, and have watched most of your fire videos (which consumed MANY hours) and also Gettin Salty.... please keep up the great work!
Just started watching about a week ago. You have a new fan on your hands! I love the coverage. Don't doubt your angles. You always give the best coverage and commentary. Don't change anything. Just AWESOME!!
John, I have followed you for some years and would say that that was one of the best coverages of a major fire I have seen you do The pictures were dramatic and gave a brilliant clear picture of the entire massive blaze. Your keeness to gain the best pictures for your followers, especially on such a dreadful night is tremendous! May I say that I felt the attack on the fire was handled in a most effective and professional manner with the initial blaze being contained and slowly but effectively extinguished by well traned and brave firefighters under the direction of chiefs who appeared to have a good handle on what the situation was. Your determination to get us the best pictures, as usual, at such a large fire and on such a dreadffui evening - weather wise - speaks volumes for the wonderful coverage you are well known for. Very many thanks and God bless you John , stay safe and well.
WELL, THAT MEANS SO MUCH FOR ME TO HEAR! YOU BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES! I DO TRY HARD TO DOCUMENT HISTORY FOR YOU ALL AND FUTURE GENERATIONS TO COME! ALSO, I AGREE THAT THE FDNY, ESPECIALLY 6TH BATTALION MARSAR, DID A PHENOMENAL JOB IN GETTING THIS FIRE UNDER CONTROL SOONER RATHER THAN LATER..... STAY WELL, STAY SAFE, GOD BLESS AND THANKS SO MUCH MURRAY!
Wanted to commend you on your loyalty, day and night showing these massive fires that these brave man and women firefighters fight from many fire departments . Your work is second to none keep, up the good work.
John .... WOW!!!! That’s all I can say !!! The best FDNY footage ever !! And you fought through the Nor Eastern storm !!! Thanks so much that’s dedication!!! Great Job FDNY for the damn good stop and holding that fire !!! Watch from beginning to end !!!! One hell of a job and amazing video coverage!!
Amazing coverage! Thank you very much. This was such a huge area of fire. FDNY continues to be the best of the best! Blessings to the FDNY and EMS. Blessings to you John. Out in this rain getting soaking wet. You take care of yourself. Get warmed up and dried off. To all responders please be safe. You all need to get dry and need some rest. Your dedication is well appreciated.
Another awesome catch John and as always the best coverage on RU-vid. Keep safe out there and keep up the good work. As always God Bless to the men and women of the FDNY.
JJ, Thank You For Your Diligent Efforts To Cover The Incredible Fires !!! Your “Raw” Talent Is What Makes You So Good. Never Second Guess Yourself. Thank You Again And Be Blessed My Friend.
Thanks for staying, and recording for so long! Great job! Another videographer had to leave after a short while because it was pouring rain. Stay safe.
Great coverage. I know that area well. Been to the burger place on 2nd and 8th many times, and McSorleys on 7th. Such a shame the occupants lost everything. Stay well. Thanks for the excellent video.
J.J. great coverage as always. Watch out for those roof top cell antennas buddy. Couldn't tell for sure but it looked like you were close to on when you walked over to check the front of the church. Love your channel, be safe and god bless you and the FDNY.
I just want to say, No matter what state or city you live/ work in.If you are a firefighter, police or paramedic and you read this..You Are My Hero! And God bless you JJ for standing in the rain to put this on video for us. You are Awesome.God Bless All
Radiant heat is of great concern at fire of this magnitude as it is a known factor it can transmit heavy heat to exposures 90 plus feet away in every direction. Refer to Bushwick is Burning August 1977 location Knickerbocker Ave n Bleeker St. Great coverage as always Brother.
Great work as always. The comms are fascinating and give you an idea of what all goes into fighting a fire. They really enhance your work. I'm curious how difficult is it to find a place to park in most of your videos? With all the action going on I would think finding a place to park within walking distance of an incident would be hard and frustrating. Stay safe!
Excellent coverage. I had a few good church fires in my career and they are a recipe for big trouble and the members already had a good building going prior to the extension. Great job to all ...
My goodness, the fire fighters have nearly an impossible job here. John brilliant job, as ever, and the angles..you're the best!! Love and thoughts to all involved here x
Just got on to your channel. Nice to see these guys getting some raw coverage of what they go through. You really get some close coverage and walk among them. I'm guessing you have a good reparrot with the FDNY.
Great vid ! Next time your having coffee with the Commissioner, ask him to stop "Throwing 5 Alarm Fires with multiple exposures!" [ OR- assign an Aide to YOU to record multiple angles SIMULTANEOUSLY !!] 😆😂 JK !🤣🤣 Great Job! (as always) Thanks for taking us along!! ♨️ 🚒 🇺🇸 🚨 🔥
JJ all of your angles are awesome. You do amazing videos. Never ever second guess yourself. You should be nominated for an Oscar every year for best fire buffing in extreme conditions and documentary films. Besides I rather you not inhaling smoke you never know what's in the air and smoke.
You arrive on the scene at around 4 min, and FDNY has contained to just two buildings in 16 minutes after you arrive? That's amazing work by the FDNY. Your work was pretty good :).
This was the BEST coverage EVER! I am a retired Asst Fire Chief and I want to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I would love to ask you how I could come across FDNY gear? Thanks so much! Oh...I was on the job 32 years!
WELL, GLAD YU ENJOY IT! AS FOR THE GEAR THEY SELL STUFF AT THE FDNY FIRE ZONE STORE AND SOME QUARTMASTER STORES.....THANKS SO MUCH AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.....
Woo so sad 😞 about the church and the apartments as I hope know one was injured 🤕 . Fantastic video shots Sir . Stay safe and god bless you watching from the uk 🇬🇧
That is an incredible fire. I feel so sorry for the congregation of the church and it was probably a historic church. The FDNY did an awesome job fighting a horrible fire. John you did an amazing job covering this very tragic fire. God Bless the FDNY please keep them safe as well as you John. Take care stay safe and healthy. Your friend in central Florida
