Team early bird here. There's nothing better than running errands at the start of the day when only the employees are in the stores, and there's nobody on the road. It literally cuts the time in half cuz you're in and out. The times I've gone out later in the day, I'm so grumpy behind the traffic and lines 😑 Downside to being an early bird is by the time 3pm hits, my body is shutting down 😂

The funny thing about that...you can still run errands in the late of the night and still have no one there and only employees in the stores. I used to grocery shop at 10pm and it was GREAT with no one there! Sorry if I burst your bubble a little. :)

@@denadear no you're right about that. A lot of places aren't open very late though unfortunately 😕 a lot of businesses close earlier (post office, dry cleaners, etc.), so if your errands extend beyond groceries, early morning might still be your best bet 😉

TY for this topic! I was getting whuppins since at least 8yo for being a night owl, been this way my whole life. None of these sleep docs acknowledge some of our ancestors had to be up ALL NIGHT to protect their sleeping people. The one-size-MUST- fit-all myth is BOGUS🤯

love this show! grindset josh is my favorite genre 😂😂😂 ya’ll legitimately did that bit for like 20 minutes and it was fantastic ❤ in all seriousness, i fall on the early bird side of the street for two reasons 1. you’re up earlier than everyone else so you can do things without people bothering you. work out, be productive, or even just play video games n relax. i know night owls can do these things after everyone is asleep, which leads me to my second point 2. there’s something about getting a whole lot of things done AND THEN having the whole day ahead of you that is immeasurably better than delaying productivity and responsibilities until the end of the day. it’s like you’ve already conquered the mountain and the rest of the day is your victory lap. it makes your rest even more restful somehow again, love the show, keep at it, and summer beats winter, josh 😊

This was the funniest one of all, especially when Josh said he jumped out of the incubator early, because he had to grind, and Dulcé rolled up with the idea of a class in Dubai. The Peeps vs Candy Corn is my second favorite. My suggestion for a theme: Four Tops vs Temptations.

Late Owl here- I started watching this at 3:30 am. I love this topic, I truly don't have any really energy at 7am. Whenever I see that time on the clock-I'm like I have no business being up?!? Unlike Dulce, I love being home by 10pm at the latest- 2am if I'm hanging out. Love lives everywhere I do.

Although she describes herself as a "night owl," Dulce has a sunshiny personality, and does not swallow her words. Nice to hear Josh supporting doing daytime diligence, and clearly articulating his views. "Early to bed, early to rise, keeps one healthy, wealthy and wise." Same as Dulce, my body just doesn't want to go to bed before 1-2 am, no matter that I have to get up to take my daughter to school by 8:30. I'm most productive at night, I feel best at night. Even when I get up early I am so s l o w at everything. Also lol sounds like night owls just enjoy life more maybe...? ^_^

Oh man I can sympathize with not liking a 4am start. I'm a truck driver and go home weekly but my "Monday" I have to be ready to leave warehouse by 7am which means I need to be there by 6am (to get paperwork, prep truck, get trailer, etc) and I live 55 miles away so I have to leave around 5am thus I have to be up by 4am.... In order to get a decent 7-8 hours of sleep I have to go to bed at like 7pm....it's still daylight!!! I hate it. Luckily it's just 1 day a week I have to deal with it but I still understand. I generally work better during the day. Sun goes down and I get tired.

This has been y most favorite episode! I am loving the grind motivation. “Super averagicity” I am all night owl. I hate it when people say oh you can get so much more done if you get up early in the morning yeah but then you’re tired earlier at night. As a night owl, I get up when my body is ready to get up and then I’m fully functional the entire day and I stay up later than the people that get up super early and get more done.
