This just made me realize how important good voice acting is for a project. They really truly did an amazing job on the final product. I don’t think voice acting gets enough appreciation and they should.

This is so cool, I’ve never heard the early build voice acting before. It sounds like Gabrielle Hersh is voicing Chloe! Ironic as she is the voice and motion capture actor for Chloe in Detroit Become human 😂

Wow... I never noticed it, but... Look at the interesting footage Dontnod worked through in the early version. 1:01 there is a special emphasis on Chloe's weed in the ashtray, as if referring us to what will happen next. It's so unusual to feel how much has been changed and cut from lis1, what about the completely changed ending of the fourth episode and the huge number of cut lines... And the game is still a masterpiece:) Pricefield forever, Max, Chloe, Rachel, Alex and Steph onelove:) 💙🦋🌀 💚🦋🌀

I really love the energy and line delivery for Chloe in the early build of Before the Storm, it's very much like how she was in season 1. The voice actress also sounds like a younger Ashly Burch which helps too. Rihanna Devries was amazing don't get me wrong, but I prefer this voice more. And the thing is, I can't even tell if that's Rihanna talking with a higher pitched voice or not because they sound pretty similar at some parts to me.

Its common for devs to use anybody they can find in their kitchen available for voice acting as for placeholder voices. But this one they probably did it quite well than other games.

Even knowing motion capture was taken in France, I saw their English talking is good in interwie. And they noted that there was microphones on them sometimes. But its really cool you found this lines of voices earliest original game build. I never heared those before.
