Love your content. Both myself and and my hubs are subs. Those branches you cut off can be propagated. I do it all the time. I just cut them off, trim all the lower leaves and stick them in a glass of water and place them on a sunny window sill. I change the water every couple of days. I’ve had one tomato plant provide me with over 30 propagated plants. I give some away as gifts. Happy Aerogardening.

Every time I see one of your videos I can't help but wonder why more people don't aerogarden. Thanks for another great video! Happy Aerogardening. 😁

I noticed at counter2:55, you showed us the extra branches on the rt... I recall being told by an older person yrs ago that when you see more than 1 branch at basically the same spot on the main stem, if you will break away those extra branch(es)(suckers too) you won't have as many tomatoes but they will be bigger tomatoes... I found that to be true on my outside tomatoes. I pruned my AG Mega Tomato plant & I just love the sz of them. Much bigger than a cherry tomato. Also at this point I do think I would switch to Maxi Bloom... Maybe the blooms & fruit will develop faster. 🤔 * NOTE: I live near a Garden Nursery & I was able purchase an 8 oz.(liquid) bottle of what's called - "Yield Booster" Stop Blossom End Rot" by ferti-lome. It can also be used as a foilar spray... The only ingredient is Calcium 10.0%. I am thinking since the label says STOP BLOSSOM END ROT, then it may be calcium that's needed more... you decide.. & please come back & show us the improvement or experiment so we all will know. Thank you for another interesting video... I so enjoy your efforts & I truly want to know about your BOTANIUM GARDEN. That's definitely something I am very interested in. I love the sound of water running day or night 😁 💤 .. That was lovely! ❤

Enjoying your videos. If you don't want powdery mildew keep your temps above 68 degrees at all times.

Thanks for testing the bush variety of Early Girl, I’ll try to find some seeds here in Canada to try them too!

pretty sure this is a determinate variety, this is how a determinate is supposed to grow. Full harvest at the same time then die off, but they can rejuvenate. I would be interested to see you try a dwarf variety from the dwarf tomato project. I would recommend Dwarf Uluru Ochre (3-foot indeterminite plant with large tomatoes. Your hydro grows are amazing.

Excellent!!! I think you eventually pruned to single stem which I’ve seen many people do in green houses You might do even better trying a dwc system they are easy to construct even with a Home Depot bucket or just a kratky method you should definitely look into either or both Then you can do totes and get a lot of greens easy peasy but do your research there are plenty on RU-vid Thanks for the video

Tomatoes will continue to ripen after you pick them. So you can pick them anytime after they've changed color. By picking them early, the plant doesn't use energy to fully ripen the tomatoes & instead will start to produce more 🍅This is also true for peppers🫑

Thank you, definitely going to try.. Do you trim the roots?

I never trim the roots intentionally. But when I clean the system during water change (every ~3 months) or if the roots get stuck into water float, the plants may lose a few roots.
