Great experiment. You've inspired me to try this variety on my Bounty. I think I'll utilize the trellis system. I find it essential for controlling the growth of unruly plants that have a tendency to get out of control. It also improves air circulation. Keep the great videos coming.

This is really great. You know what would be an interesting experiment is if you did a comparison between two watermelon plants where you let one plant grow normally and the other kept to just one developing watermelon to see if you can make it bigger. I hear that’s what people do in the field to get giant watermelon and giant pumpkins.

The LetPot really held its own in this race vs the 50w light. Makes my life more complicated. I have a LetPot in the box, was considering using its massive grow deck for a kale garden. But now it seems like a waste of the grow light and I might have to use it for 3-4 fruiting plants if it is so capable.
