17 varsity red’s were the first pair of Jordan’s I paid for with my own money in high school with a job. Straight out of the DMV! I love these and needed them. Best 17’s in my opinion. The 17 low’s are the most comfortable out of all the 17 models

1st pair of J's I ever bought. My parents were always so stingy when I was a kid and never would let me get any Jordan's. The 5's are my all time favorite J's, but these hold a very special place in my heart. I've already got the funds put aside, and can't wait for the other versions that are coming out this year!

I was 16 when the 17s dropped, got 2/3 highs with briefcase on sale. Mid all black for 99.99, hype is always mysterious. Tap in with your shoe palace they will have plenty

U right Jordan just gonna keep raising the price until majority kick back. They can keep those for $300. I've already started transition from Jordan to other sneakers now. I still get the few must cop OG sneakers that come out but for all others my extra money goes to New Balance and Asics where there quality is above n beyond Jordan brand. I also keep to buying SB dunks with that $135 retail is a lot better. Along with some air max and I'm good. They can keep there over price retros. I've been collecting for 30 yrs. I'm going for comfort and quality now days over hype!!!

AJ17s one of the few non-OGs i mess with , and the 17s' colorways this year are all really clean imo. But that $300 is def a bit much , imo the briefcase doesn't justify that price. $250 would be more reasonable. I can easily afford them but its the principle , JB retail prices just getting out of hand imo , plus wifey always on my case with kicks anyway. I want them but at $300 not 100% mandatory.

All of the later model retros 16s, 18s, 19s have been $250. So 300 which is 250 plus the price of the brief case doesn’t surprise me.

Ima keep saying this, bring back OG college blue & black metallic 17’s. And on the black metallic’s don’t do that suede nonsense like the CDP 17’s But as far as these lows go I’ll pay 300 it’s not a big deal, I’m not paying anymore than 400 if i miss I don’t think they’re necessarily worth 300 but I’m on 17’s so hard I’ll pay it Only reason i never paid 1200 for a 2002 pair of 17’s is because they’d crumble immediately 😂 im really on 17’s hard For reference, im 31 years old and im from dc so Jordan was with the wizards when 17’s dropped so they’re super relevant to us

Nah the biggest mistake Nike made was making the 17 low tops should have made the 17 high top with the suitcase to justify the $300 imo

The varsity reds and the OG wizard colorway would be worth it. JB tripping taxing double the original price for the lows. They could have at least made the suitcase yellow and put a box in the brief case. This is some basic becky ish JB.
