You are looking great Julie, fingers crossed for Thursday. My wife is a two time colon cancer survivor (2003 and 2016), both primary cancers, not something they missed the first time. She had chemo for the first one but not the second. Her life is more or less normal, we take car trips and she works fulltime in an office (she's a nurse). If you have any questions at all about recovery or life after colon cancer, let me know and we'll figure out the best way to get you two in contact. She's 65 by the way. Also, if you have children, they will need to be tested 10 years before the age you were first diagnosed.

You are looking wonderfully strong Julie. You will be leaving Mike in your gravel dust, very soon!!

I have been 145 to 150 lbs. since 1973. Whenever I go over that upper number... I become my own hardass drill instructor. I am 150 this morning and eyeing myself suspiciously and ready to pounce.

Lovely to see you cycling down Sea Road to Boscombe Pier, past the old bathing station and along the prom. Born there, 70 years ago, and spent my childhood around there. Happy days. And well done Julie for braving all the horrible times. Happy days are coming back soon.❤

Had intensive bowel surgery back in 2008, I was effectively re-plumbed! Astonishingly, I was told I could eat anything I liked afterwards. Took me several years to find out this was far from true. Twice rushed back into hospital with problems, but now I know my correct diet. Good luck and keep those wheels turning. . .

Lovely to see Julie out and about and looking good, keep up the gentle exercise 👍🏼. You are so right Mike planning for the future is key to a comfortable life after work. We built a granny annex with separate front door and shower room (only had upstairs bath and shower before) when thinking of our future. Still not fully used (only 73 now) but who knows the future. Julie, great to see you out and about and looking so well with it! Fingers crossed it's good news on Thursday! Mike, great advert there for getting out early in the mornings, especially at this time of year. Beautiful light and it feels like you have the planet to yourself almost - no one else is about yet! It sounds like you've come up with a good plan and are setting it in motion - good stuff. Plus, it might mean more Wheeler content which can only be a good thing! I once saw someone ask what are Tuesdays for? They're not Monday, the start of the week, they're not Wednesday, half way through, nor Thursday, almost there. Well, Tuesday is Wheelers day, so whoever it was back in the day who said we need a Tuesday can thank you both for making it worthwhile 🤣👍 Great stuff you two!

Good new about Julie. Fingers still crossed though. With regard to the creak on the bike though, have a look to see if the pedals need re-greasing. Normally my 'go to' for creaks and clicks on the bike. Quick to do and cheaper than a bottom bracket. 🙂
