Any advice for when your baby poops at 5am? My 10mo has been doing this for a month straight! Only thing that puts him back is if we feed him or rock him to sleep.

There isn't a whole ton you can do here, but a month is a long time to struggle with this! You can try switching up your feeding schedule during the bedtime routine and making sure you're feeding early and getting movement in before bed so he can work it through his system. You can try to push bedtime a little later too, to try to shake things up just a tad.

When my toddler (24months) sometimes gets out of his bed in the evening, we put him back and then he falls asleep. When we try this technique at 4:30 am, he keeps getting out of his bed and cries at the door. What do you suggest we do in this case? Do we just let him cry? Do we continue to try putting him back in bed until the appropriate wake up time?

Pick a sleep training method and stick with it 100% consistently. The method will depend on your opinions about sleep training and his temperament. But yes, whatever you do, continue it until appropriate wake up time.

Why is 6-8am the propper time to wake up? Why not 9am or 10am? 🤔 What about the bedtime?

Because it aligns with the circadian rhythm and the natural production of melatonin. After 3 months old, bedtime should be between 6-8pm, usually falling somewhere close to 7pm, depending on wake windows and naps.

@@marisolmarrero591 if the baby sleeps through the night and everything is going well, no need to fix what works for your family. If the baby is waking throughout the night and there are sleep issues, I'd make the change. ❤️
