I think the sneaker community needs to address that Nike struggles to make good silhouettes now, reacts and FOG’s were good but when was the last time we saw a shoe that’s gonna be a classic like Jordan’s and og air Max’s. Hate on new yeezy’s all you want, but he’s the best at creating new sneakers from scratch right now. Nike just keeps bringing back what works

Not saying it was the sneaker of the year, but the Yeezy Zebra’s deserve some recognition in 2017. It had a bunch of restocks since then, but that was a $3k shoe at one point and still a lot of people’s favorites

be careful with off whites. For example, the ten collection age pretty bad and turn piss yellow. Idk how the 4s age in color but they’re not a good long run shoe because of the air bubble that will eventually burst

This isn’t my sneaker of the year but an honorable mention should be the union 4s just because of how the shoe was actually obtainable for manual users. No bots were able to get through it wasn’t just based on pure luck everyone had a chance of purchasing the shoe which I really liked.

I do thrift shop reselling. Ever since Travis Scott Nike dunk came out the market for Nike SBs has gone through the roof. Used songs I used to be able to get 30 or 50 bucks for are now going for 200, 300 bucks or more.

I feel like Travis dunk is falling in the shadow for many people. I still think its top 3 over chunky. The week of release was crazy knowing that they weren't going to be on Snkrs. You had to figure out what skateshops were going to have them and gave them a lot of business. Like the old days. The chunkys and grateful deads just took that energy that was created by the Travis and ran with it.

I think the chunky dunkys are best collab shoe but not best overall shoe, to make it sneaker of the year it has to be more accessible to the public 2k is still hefty i think it’s gonna be the mocha 1s or the infrared AM90s when they release
