I just love your home so much, it has such a brilliant use of space & is so functional. I don’t know how your builders managed to fit a large (by tiny home standards) kitchen, a pantry, a hallway, a closet, that large shower, a washer/drier combo and sooooo much storage space in a tiny home… but they MUST be champions at Tetris. 😁 Also “Second in the line of succession” made me think of your cats vying to sit on a cat thrown 🤭lol… and I’m here for it! 🤭 Thanks for the tour of your lovely home. Finally tiny house owners that say NO to windows. So many tiny house videos where every wall is a window. The light the light the light! I know but sometimes you need privacy, a place for art or a piece of furniture not shoved against a window. And by far one of the best designed bathroom. Very thoughtful design. Great couple.

Preach it! I have always thought recliners make so much more sense than a stiff built in couch. And your kitchen is so well designed. Love the lazy Susan and pantry and your camera storage. Your bathroom is brilliant. You are an awesome couple. You are so smart that you had a plan and were realistic. Thank you for your law enforcement service. Love your cat set up wow! Amazing home, so functional and beautiful. I absolutely love their house! $115k for that house is a good deal, although the necessary truck was expensive. That's the largest house I've seen people really take traveling; the fact that they can pull it around the country makes their setup priceless. As a cat mom myself, I also like how much they included their kitties in the design.

lol, well that was pre-pandemic pricing and it has gone up since then so we were super lucky with the timing of it all. But still, the quality of their builds are second to none. I’d still recommend Moveable Roots to anyone that wants a high quality custom build.

I love the cats and also all the cat amenities. The bedroom loft is very user friendly. You don’t have to crawl across the room to get into bed-the bed is right there and you have the standing area to dress.

What a great home! I especially love how the kitchen and bathroom are laid out. I love that they really took their cats into consideration when their home was being built. I can only imagine how the quality of life for many would improve if they could retire as early as this wonderful couple was able to. What a dream! This place is so well thought out! The window seat could be used for guests. The kitchen is huge for that space. The accommodations to the adorable cats. Love it! Very smart ladies the way they planned ahead also. Good for them! Living the good life for sure.

I can tell you from experience, getting too old to do everything yourself zooms up to you! I live in Florida, and cannot believe what I can no longer do for myself in my little house that's just under 1,500 sq ft. But it's the yard. So you two are smarter than me to get rid of the big house + yard and go tiny. Have fun, love the cats, love each other and sleep well.

We’ve heard many good reviews about incinerating toilets. They do have considerable power use but off grid fuel options are possible or a really beefy solar system.

This is one of the best build’s I’ve seen yet, and, I’ve seen a lot!!! My hat’s off to you girls for having the guts to haul it!! I had a 13ft Boler and could not back it up to save my mother!!! I like the recliner chairs instead of the straight back sofa, which, as you said, would NOT be comfortable. Lots of storage and well thought out. Thanks for sharing, many more years of travelling and adventures to you both!!!

I am happy to see you both were able to find a place to park your Tiny House on wheels and you can focus on your travels and experiences and have a place to come back home to and park your home. I wish there was more conversation on the heating and cooling system. I did notice a mini-split which can provide energy efficient heating and cooling. Also, I would've like to see the plumbing (PEX tubing, copper pipes, PVC?) and water filter, if any, for the onboard water tank. The refrigerator runs on DC so there must be at least a 12 volt battery somewhere; there is lots of potential for roof top solar and battery storage in this tiny house on wheels.

We love Charley and family! We have been Cat Lady friends on Instagram for years but this is the first time we have seen all the tiny house details. It is absolutely amazing! The bathroom is so spacious and even has laundry, I never imagined it could be. The stairs are so clever too. There is so much storage and I would never have imagined it could hold 4 cats and two people and yet feel so roomy.

Your layout I really like!! The fact that you actually move it from place to place is appealing also with nothing really but tire issues (I know not little but I am sure you get where I am coming from as could be much worse). Most are parked in communities from the start which there is nothing wrong with but you showed true challenges and using as intended. Thank you. Answered a few questions. Enjoy the world!! Thank you! I will say that after our tire issues during our 2022 summer trip, we upgraded our tires to the next load range (went from load range E to F) and we didn’t have 1 blown tire in our 2023 summer trip. Lesson learned! 😊

We have 5 cats currently + 1 dog. None were planned, all were rescued. Love that you're like us, in that kitties comfort & happiness matters! (Ok, translation: maybe a just a tiny bit spoiled?) Have dog almost 2yrs now ~ big dog & think she's 11 yrs old (stubborn old gal, abandonment issues!😨 Cared for her while her Dad went to hospital for "2wks". He was in/out/in again ~ he may have died tho; not a word in 5mos now & tried local hospitals/SNFs.🤐 I laughed when you said that cat hair even gets in rooms they don't go. Yes it does! "If there's air, hair ends up in there!" What do you use to keep it cleaned-up? Am allergic to cats & 5 = lots of floating fur! [in house w/hardwood floors now]. I'm into Tiny Homes & to travel, not so the husband. So cool that yours does both! Wish you & your cats many safe & happy travels, with love & laughter wherever you go!

You certainly know the cat hair plight! lol. We have a Dyson stick vacuum with attachments that can get into just about any crevice or surface you can think of, and small enough to fit in our pantry. We had the builder put in an outlet inside the cabinet for the Dyson recharging station. Works great! All hardwood floors and tile also help tremendously in being able to get it all up because carpet will not let go of that stuff 🐱

Thanks for sharing this. Most tiny homes are not driven on the regular and I'm wondering what kind of mpg with this tow one might expect. Can you share a ballpark?

Great question! Back in our full-time traveling days, we only got about 5 mpg. 🙃 But with their extra beefy truck, they might get more like 10-12 mpg. But hopefully, they’ll hop over here to let us know 😊

This summer trying it out I felt a bit guilty that I'm enjoying it so greatly while only getting about 8 mpg. But now that doesn't sound too extravagant considering these rigs. It's not a direct comparison of course, but helpful to know.

Yes great question! We get between 6-8 mpg when pulling our tiny. From what we gathered of RVers with relatively same or larger sized rigs, it’s not much different at all. Also, ours is not the most aerodynamic shape, we say we are pulling a brick 😂. we didn’t want to compromise our ceiling height in the lofts to gain 1 or 2 mpgs while traveling.

What a beautiful family and home! I live in Miami and I hate to break it to you but you are true snowbirds and not sunbirds. Snowbirds are people who fly south for the winter. But I think it's cute that you call yourself sunbirds! 🌞 Safe travels!!

lol! Well we say we are sunbirds because we are from Florida and leave for the summer, we have never flown south for the winter 😁 we just come home ❤️
