Early Successional Habitat Response to Spring Burn 

I return to the area where I burned the cedar piles back in April this year. I was blown away by the wonderful early successional response form the fire. I noticed several fawn beds and a fawn did jump! I noticed minimal damage to the mature oaks despite the intense heat. Habitat for the win!
