I had to get my boat reinspected so I went to Lake Perris around noonish to avoid the lines and get the inspection. I think zipped over to a quick spot to fish and got some nice Bass.
I was fishing the same spot where i lost my biggest bass ever (probably was my biggest ever, ill never know, but it felt like it!)

Dang Bro! Pretty windy that day. I can only fish on weekends due to work. I tried Perris last week and it was a zoo. Way too crowded at the boat launch. I’ll be fishing Diamond Valley for the summer from now on unless I get a day off then I’ll check out Perris. I still plan on checking out San Vicente. Tight lines! 🤙🏼

Daaamnn!!! Im sorry to hear that bro!!!!! Im wondering if it was because it was the Holiday weekend. I havent been fishing DV much this year either. I think the Algae Bloom is nasty there right now. Not sure tho. If you are able to hit Perris on a weekday, hmu anytime!!! Tight lines brutha 🤘🤘🎣🎸🎵🎶

For sure Bro! That would be cool. 😎 Yes, the algae bloom was bad but it’s slowly clearing up. I’ll be throwing top water in the early mornings, then probably switch it up to A Wacky Rig, Drop Shot, and a Square Bill. Maybe a Keitech swim bait.

Ive been throwing more keitech paddle tails and senko swim baits lately now that im getting more comfortable with Baitcasters. Even if i dont hook up with em, its been cool seeing the fish follow em and seeing where they are coming from, then i can throw something else in that direction and get em like that. Ive had some of my best days and worst days at DV. I just need to stop being cheap and go . . . haha

I just looked at some old folders, i havent fished DV since Nov of 2022 . . . i just had too many bad days and it got more expensive. Even with the Disabled Veterans Discount Pass, you still got to pay the Day Use . . . but damn, some of my best Fish came from DV too hahaha

Im gonna hit up Silverwood this month too during the week. I havent fished there in forever. Just to see how I do. Id like to get on some Stripers while there too
