OKAY BUT THE ANIMATION ON THE 3v1 AND THE "WOUNDED ANIMAL"? THIS IS PHENOMENAL!

2:50 Many artists like portray Gem as sweet person with a psychotic streak (which is funny), but THIS is the first time I’ve seen Gem portrayed as a proper BADASS like some kind of action heroine and it works just as well, if not better. I’m not even a Gem fan (Desert Duo all the way), and I loved it. That “You guys are gross” followed by the roundhouse kick to the face looked right out of an action movie. A part of me, someone who rooted for Scar, almost wish Gem won so she could win that fight in this animatic. That’s how good this is.

As an ex-dream smp fan, sad-ist’s “warriors” animatic was my awakening to fandom animatics and Minecraft RU-vid in general. After the dream smp fell apart, and everyone I liked died, or got exposed as a horrible person. I didn’t go near mcyt for a year after that, because I was too scared that it was all like that. Now, at the start of this year, I found the life series, then hermitcraft, and experienced the same level of… brainrot and felt somehow like I never left the scene. This fandom reawakened my faith in minecraft RU-vid, and this time round, I’ve found a place far less toxic and controversial to find comfort in. This is somehow me, re-experiencing something for the first time again, and this beautiful animatic just… oh my gosh this is the best way to do it. Thank you so much, you are so goddamn talented, and I commend you for the many, many hours this must have taken.

RAHHH THIS IS SO COOL?? It has such a Sad-ist type style, and animation like that is INSANE, and the EMOTION, the ART, AAGHH Not to mention that the fight scenes are so fluent?? The one against grian and GATS (i believe) was so COOL, as well as Gem and Pearl’s fight at the end AA THIS IS SO COOL

We all know Pearl never would of let herself win a second time anyway, a fight because a fight is required, not one she ever planned to win. Willing to sacrifice her life so he could get more hearts, like Scott did for Gem, but Scar refused, and Scar got to win, without that sacrifice.

2:36-2:43 When Gem is holding Scott's body in tears, as he smiles, having let her kill him for a chance for her to win. God, I am obsessed with this, but I am so glad to see that moment getting the weight it deserves. Scott is so prepared at any moment to sacrifice himself so that his teammates might win. I love it. Also just in general, this is amazing??? Like, it's so so so so so good!!!!

This animatic shows exactly why I truly believe that the Final Session of Secret Life (on the whole) is the greatest Final Life Series session since 3rd Life, possibly even better.

This is incredible, the animation is so smooth, the transitions are amazing, the movement fits with the song so well, that part with Scar and the previous series, just *chef's kiss*. Brilliant. Brilliant, I tell you. Also, love that it looks a bit like SAD-ist's animation (which was quite obviously the inspiration), but it's still different, and unique, and yours. Love that.

1:55 - 2:08 why does his edited monologue work so perfectly here?! The “And fine” with the red eyes and drop of the music, so good! And the fight sequences at the end were so smooth! Your animation is incredible!

I like how Scar is portrayed as calm, collected and ruthless in most animatics, but in reality is the goofiest guy.

I love how even though the art style isn’t super complicated, the movements are so complex and it all flows so nicely, if there was a trailer for Secret Life, this would be it.

Scar's win is SO deserved! Scar won the season that best suit him! This reminds me a lot of Pearl's season but this one is just wild, I'm pretty sure Scar got a whole lot of kills this season!

“That’s amazing” to quote a certain horn. Ok but genuinely the fight scenes in this are incredible and so smoothly animated. Probably the coolest looking fight scenes I’ve seen in a Minecraft animatic since SAD-IST. The fire aspect sword looks amazing, as does the nether portal.

I loved grians death this series cuz, Gem was really low and, theoretically, if Grian went for her at the end of his fight instead of Scott, he could have gotten his ten hearts. But my fanboying over grian aside, AMAZING ANIMATION!! Thank you again for creating.

10K views is criminal to how much this deserves. The dramatic music, incredible fight scenes, absolute impeccable dialogue selection, and the way you animated such emotion is jaw dropping. I CANT FREAKING GET OVER THE FIGHT SCENE WITH THE WINGS. This whole animatic is so cinematic and deserves so much more attention, I cannot wait for it to show up in reaction videos so you can get the recognition you deserve.

I'm so obsessed with this. Watching it again and both the 3 v 1 and 2 v 1 are so amazingly chorographed and animated. The 3 v 1 was amazing. You really depicted Grian's last stand flawlessly, especially with the addition of his wings at 2:10. You can tell he dealt a lot of damage. I particularly like in the 2 v 1, at 3:00 when Gem says "2 v 1?! Ugh, you guys are gross." and you made her notice Scar leaping towards her, she rolls her eyes as she says the line, then she clocks Scar right in the face with a roundhouse kick, whilst he's mid-air. Brilliant choreography. You can see the determination and conflict in the way Pearl fights Gem and how Gem is truly upset cus she thought they were friends. This is so excellent and I know I'm going to keep coming back to it!!!

love the little detail of when someone is dead the red color they had in jewlrey or smth else is gone. as well in the 2-4 frames at the end, grian has the watcher eye, and littlewood as cracks in his ghost.. great animatic 30/10

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that remembers the Sad-Ist animatic to this song, they carry much of the same vibe and I'm so happy about it. Sad-Ist was my favorite artist during the DSMP arc and this is a little bit of nostalgia

One of the best animatics for the entire Life series I’ve seen yet! I so wanna see Jimmy and Martin see this. The character designs for Tango and Scar in particular are great! (Also, the detail of writing in the proper script is underrated) :D

Excuse me while I gush for a second: the fight choreography, the expressions, the fact that all the shots are timed to the music PERFECTLY. Also the moment at 3:15 were Scar's wound heals after he kills Gem is such a nice detail. This is an awe-inspiring masterpiece.

Holy shit, everytime I watch this it gets more impressive. The cinematography, the fluidity, the motion. The storyline is also great. Scars villain dialogue always slaps, but then the juxtaposition of gem and pearl at the end there fits perfectly. Great stuff. Can't imagine the amount of work this must have taken.

I HAVE ALL THE GOOSEBUMPS!!!! this is so good i LOVE it!! fav piece has to be the part w injured etho and scar's ender pearl kill. i'm so impressed with how you animated etho in his totally beat down and wounded state it's heartbreaking. and scar's monologue is so evil and snarky i LOVE the drama. the lil ender pearl bonking etho in the head is such a lil whimsical tidbit i adore it. wrap it up with a totally badass kill from scar and hooo boy is that just such a sick series of events. what wonderful storytelling! and the emotion you can convey in these scenes is just incredible!! fantastic job!!!
