This is the greatest group of all time. The guy singing lead on this is the great Maurice White who was the leader of Earth, Wind, and Fire. Philip Bailey also sang lead and had what I feel is the greatest Falsetto of all times. Their Musicianship, Arrangements, and song writing was second to none. They were such a spiritual and positive vibe band under the leadership of Maurice White may he rest in peace. So many great songs its crazy he is not remembered like he should be. He was a genius.

Those of us who grew up in the 70's..high school era were BLESSED TO HAVE EWF SLOW SONGS. These guys stand the true test of time. I am going to see them August 27th 2022 Tampa and this blue eyed white woman is losing her mind cause I am going to hear genius music 🎶 🎵 😳

However, this track's real title is "Love's Holiday" (not "would you mind")...Nevertheless, the one singing lead on this track is none other than "Maurice White" (R.I.P.) he was founder & leader of the band. The falsetto voice you hear in the background is "Philip Bailey" who is the current leader of the band, as they still have 3 original members who are still touring with the band. Earth Wind & Fire (EWF) is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time and one of the most influential musical groups of modern music history!!! Even one of the Beatles (no disrespect to the Beatles) admitted that they (EWF) did a cover of their song "Got To Get You Into My Life" better than they did it...I encourage you to react to that one and you'll see what he was talking about...EWF has such an extensive musical catalog, that you're just barely scratching the surface with "September" & "Love's Holiday." I got my first album of EWF when I was in grammar school in 1974. I saw my first concert in 1979 at the Oakland Arena and have seen 2 others. EWF has always been my favorite. Great sons to her are "Devotion" the live version from 1975, "In The Stone" and "Fall in Love With Me"

EWF was the first concert I went to (that wasn't at an amusement park). IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Listening to them is a religious experience.

E,W,F is one of my all time favorites. In my younger days me and my friends would go driving around on Friday nights and sing to my E,W,F mix tape. There are so many songs. I would recommend "After The Love Is Gone". That's Maurice White taking the lead on this song.

EW&F and Chicago were my two favorite groups in high school. Great songs, and they both used horns and strings at times. Plus, both were very pro-social groups - nice songs, no anti-social themes (misogyny, violence, etc). They actually performed a joint concert years later, and produced a double album DVD together. It's wonderful.
