Mighty Mighty!! Nice! Let the funk flow free! I'm so glad to have seen EW&F in concert, even if it was almost twenty years after their hey day. They were great. Everybody was dancing. I had a blast. One of my favourite tracks from them. Philip Bailey really shows of his wailing vocal talent. But it doesn't sound like it wasn't your cup of tea. There are some great Soul Train lines to Mighty Mighty on RU-vid, they were really digging it.

vernadine white said it best. Man it was our first album we were out in beautiful Colorado at the Caribou ranch studios where Chicago did a lot of their recording. Next thing you know it came time for the photo shoot for this album and we standing up on the mountain half-dressed freezing our asses off. 🤣🤣 He said we felt cold being from Chicago but we never felt COLD!!

So you're definitely trippin'. This is when I realized that I was a true EWF fan. This song was a house party dance special and this is the first of their albums I remember in house. Different strokes, guess you had to be there.

I love you Empress, but I think you're trippin' on this one...This is a funky BOP!!! And it's one of EWF's earlier jams!!!

I like the lyrics. The message. But if you want to hear some of early songs. Try listening to: "Keep Your Head To The Sky" "Evil" Those were the first two Earth Wind and Fire songs I had heard on the radio. They were a first class band in 1973. And they are still good today, Empress. If you want to see for yourself, go to their concert. They still love to play music.
