@@Michelle-pn9xt Jenny's is the basic granola but you can add dried fruits like cranberries and so on as well....if some dont like Maple Syrup, they can also use raw honey....so many ways to add a little more to Jenny's yummy granola to suit anyones taste.
Jenny I love watching your cooking not only it's delicious food but you also make us laugh which is nice and different to most RU-vidrs. 🥰 From London.
I am a gastric bypass patient and am always looking for healthier foods with texture and this is great. Just a couple changes: (1) used Splenda brown sugar (2) cannot have real maple syrup so I used no sugar pancake syrup. I use as breakfast cereal or in Greek yogurt or just about anything. What I also love about this recipe is I know what is in it and much more healthier, thanks so very much.
I wish I would have discovered your videos before today! I have only watched three or four videos thus far, but I've Loved everyone! Thank you so much!
Been looking for a 60's granola recipe, and I think I've found it. No fancy coconut oil, and stuff. Just the basics Mam', Just the basics :D Thanks Jenny, Hugs
Looks good!! I love adding sunflower seeds, raisins and dried cranberries after cooking. I like granola w/a nut butter, like almond butter, mixed in w/the ingredients, too.
hey I wanna ask did we truly add the coconut from the beginning? I am afraid that it will be burnt if I add in from the beginning (other recipes say that you add from the last 15 minutes
I am baking your fast no knead bread now. Can hardly wait to taste it. I have made this granola recipe and it is great! Thanks so much for your videos. You are a great teacher and so funny!
I was sitting here thinking she looks like Jenny Jones and her name is Jenny. Then I looked at her photo it says Jenny Jones wow. Great recipe I will certainly use it.
Just found this recipe. Made it! Love it! I had to substitute the honey with blackstrap molasses. It turned out really good. My husband loves granola and he said this was the best ever. The molasses gives it a deep dark flavor. Thanks for your videos. Love them. Next I want to try your no knead bread.
Your video is simple & easy to follow. It also makes me laugh 😂. I’ve reduced honey a little bit in this recipe and It also turned out to be great! Thanks 😊
I just made it without the sugar and it was pretty good! My husband loved my granola and so I!! Thanks a lot again, and I'll try you're apple pie very soon, maybe tomorrow!😋
+Marilynn Herrera I'm with you! I wouldn't want to add extra sugar, esp. since there is already maple syrup in it. What I might try is switching both of those out for honey. I think that's still cheaper and will still be sweet, but no processed sugar. Then add raisins or dried cranberries or blueberries or whatever for more sweetness. Or even fresh or frozen. Nom-nom-nom!
@@smallfootprint2961 Thanks for the reply! I've since switched to a Keto diet and now can't eat this at all in any form. LOLOL Thank you, anyway. You're why there is still some good in the Internets!
Jenny, I am slowly working my way through your recipes and I haven't met a stinker yet! This granola is next up on my agenda. So much easier than my previous method. My recipe is very similar but I add cinnamon and...wait for it... cayenne pepper! It takes it over the top and adds an extra element of addictiveness; that's why I give it as gifts (teehee). I know you probably got tired of making these videos but if you ever feel like it again, I would sure love that. You shouldn't feel the need to fix everyone's problems. Just post and ignore!
I just put this into the oven and I had to taste it raw 1st...delicious....Thanks Jenny...I will add dried cranberries and cherries,a few chopped dates as well to my finished product!yum..Merry Christmas 2019 all...
Jenny thank you so much for all the great recipes. I just came across your channel by chance and Im so glad I did! You are so funny! I love all your jokes. Keep up the good work.
Dear Mrs Jones. Thanks for giving a chance for my foto of granola on your website. I made it a few days before and my husband loves it. When I took it out of oven, it was light brown but soften. But - when it cooled down, what surprise, it was crunchy. It smells so lovely and the taste: perfect!!!!! I am also a fan cooking at home. I love to cook, you know what is in the food, you can play with the amount of fat and sugar. And it is more comfortible to eat at home at a nice table with nice tableware, tableclothes and a nice candlelight. May be I can find your cookbook on Amazon Germany. And I will prepare some of your recipes and send you fotos of them. :-) Wish you all the best and lots of more recipes for the people all over the world. Sabine from Germany
I make mine like she does, but I add raisins or cranberries, and a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon. I use honey rather than maple syrup . A splash of vanilla in the oil before adding. Same proportions. So good as a snack.
First time I've watched one of ur video. U are so funny I'll be watching u more often. U put a smile on face :) it's nice to see someone that is down to earth.
Oh My Jenny, & Dave, My Mom made the best granola, and I couldn;t find the recipe, This looks so much like hers was, she used Pistachios, Pecans, and Cashews, Apricots, and Golden Raisins. and all of the other ingredients as well. Thank You.We always watched you, and loved you.
You are an excellent teacher. Your step by step instructions are superb.. Thank you. My mother was a Polish Slovak baker too. But your ways are so much healthier. And Ben more delicious.
“Why, what have you heard?!” Hilarious!!!Where have you been Jenny? This looks like it may be my favorite oats recipe …thanks for the tips! Miss You your recipes and your humor🥰
Can't wait to try it. It's funny, I was just complaining about not finding good affordable recipes. As a single mother, I find it hard to stock my pantry and even harder if I'm only gonna use the ingredient once or twice. Thank u ! Now, if only u could teach us how U asked for something and it appears. I certainly wouldn't ask for gloves tho, but a home on an acre or two! Ill be waiting patiently on the Ask and u shall receive tutorial! lol😂
Jenny your homemade granola recipe looks so good and tasty,I am going to copy down your recipe and make it at home soon. What goes well with your granola, milk, yogurt,or on icecream ?
Hey Jenny, it'd been you back in the 80's. When I used to sit in front of the TV and watched everything you'd been in, all the "talk shows". Anyway it's always a pleasure to see your face. I know this video is old. I'd hope you's doing well ?.... Bless you. An ex New Yorker.
