You a good teacher.... I've been struggling whenever am sewing a shirt dress.... I always have to follow one tutorial for the whole day yet can't memorize but I spent few minutes on your tutorial and I didn't even watch it again when I was drafting a shirt collar today... God bless you

This was so helpful! I really liked that you had a different color for your collar so that it is easy to see what side is interfacing. Cutting the interfacing to the exact shape of the pattern seemed to be easier and more precise than me trying to trace on the fabric several times.

You can use collar stay for that as well. The other stay is called peplum stay.

I was ten minutes in before I realized she doesn't know what a collar stay is..... What are Collar Stays? Collar stays are flat, rigid pieces of metal (or plastic) that are inserted into the sleeves on the underside of your dress shirt collars. They work by keeping the collar smooth and flat

Okay, thanks for the enlightenment. Here in Nigeria, the market name for what I used in the video is collar stay. So I guess the best way for me to put it was stiff fusible interfacing for collars.
