Very easy, 1 outer fabric piece and 1 lining piece, plus 1 shoulders strap and 2 key ring straps. I will make one but with a pocket inside and one outside
The part I always get wrong is the lining & the straps...!! When I flip inside out it's usually wrong way or straps are in the wrong way. I'm doing a tote I'm literally constantly still getting the straps wrong...!! But I really loved the tutorial & the bag.
Hello from Chicago. Nice idea for fixing zipper!! Thanks. Please tell, what brand of fusible interfacing do you use? My fusible lining just does not stick to the fabric, no matter how I try !!
Thanks a lot Seema, check whether your fusible lining having glue one side, else you can buy from Amazon, I have given a link in description have a look.
I don’t go through the trouble of extra work to make the lining seamless. I sew it straight on to the backside of the outer pieces and just zigzag the seams before turning it right side out. You finish faster and no one sees the inside seams anyway ! One of these days i might try to just do French seams on the inside liner. Or even instead of zig zag I might just do tacky glue on the seams before turning it right side out. I really don’t understand why you people do the extra work on the inside lining. No one sees it
