EASIEST way to defeat Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring 

Even when there's a million people attacking him. He focuses on me 💯

Lol thank you so much for actually providing options for beginners. So many of the guides insist “so first we dodge his attacks” as if that’s something I hadn’t thought of lol.

This is a good strat I beat him with a similar method. My issue that killed me every time was always greed, don’t get too greedy when your summons have his attention just pop him 2 3 times max and dip to find more summons. I couldn’t believe how many lorettas arrows you got off in the beginning when your summons had aggro. I usually hit him twice and he’s beelining for me like I killed his family 😂

Beat him tonight with this approach. Took me four tries. First few I got too close or stayed too far and timid, and eventually NPCs don’t come back. Then Radahn will track you down. Key is to keep pressure on with a few shots whenever it’s safe and keep resummoning aggressively.

Watched like 5 guides. None of the others worked, this one worked first try solo. Great guide, subbed.

If you're brave enough as a melee user, you can dismount near him and do skill attacks while he's busy with your summons. Then quickly mount to get out of hairy situations. I used bloody uchigatana and a greatshield

This was exactly was my strategy for defeating him. Tried using Scarlet Breath Rot against him but it always ended up killing me instead because I couldn't face him directly. So I was back on track being the true astrologer. I aimed the Loretta's Bow from afar while he was busy fighting with all the summons. The funny thing was, I was really run out of all of the cerulean flasks and my remaining FP was enough for just one shot of Loretta's Bow. Luckily I got bull's eye and Radahn was defeated.

The hardest thing about this fight is the small purple orbs he shoots.

Man the bow spell made it so much easier. I was using the gkint stone pebble and I had to get so close... I died many many times... then I learned that I can run away and keep summoning npcs to tank those meteors for me.... man even without that I got him down to 25% I was trying to kill him before he launched the meteors.

This indeed works, took me two tries. Be sure to be in range when you shoot, you have long range but not that long. Also have alot of mana flasks, i had 9 mana, 2 health.

Yea I did this too, but as melee getting even one hit in is incredibly risky. In the end I just ran around and let the summons do all the work, lmao. I equipped a crossbow to get some shots in, but I think I missed all. 😂 The aftermath was kinda funny how they all congratulated me as a "true champion" when I really did nothing, lol.

Can confirm this method works. For me though I was nervous about aggroing him so I made sure to always summon and re-summon those NPCs. With my current build being more of a spell blade the Loretta's Greatbow works well (if you invested in the INT stat). Took me longer because I didn't want to be anywhere near him and run away as soon as you aggro him. The floating spheres in his second phase can usually one shot you if you are not careful. That dragon rot breath works too, but only if you invested in the correct stats to use it.

just an fyi but use the rotten breath dragon communion to give him scarlet rot which he is EXTREMLEY weak to, follow the same route as the video until all the summons are up then go behind him and use rotten breath spell. It takes 2 rotten breath attacks to finish phase 1 and 2 attacks for phase 2 all you have to do between attacks is run.

Rotten Breath is OP against this boss. He murdered me countless times till I got that spell and now I've been helping ppl kill him with ease.

Bro hands down the best guide. The other tactics did not work but go him first try with this one.

Tip-use the sword of night and flame. Just spam the flame and you win really easily (it takes around 3 minutes to get and you don’t have to kill anything)

I'm a powerstancing STR build (lvl 75) so I kind of have no choice but to get up in there haha. I got him to like 40% on my 3rd run but didn't know what the meteor things did and couldn't dodge them in time (if they're even possible to roll through). I'm going to try again tomorrow, I searched up a guide just to see a recommended way to deal with him and the summons are a genuinely useful piece of info for me because I straight up didn't notice them somehow. I'll probably start summoning them as he transitions into his second phase and hope for the best as I mainly use them as distractions to continue my jump attack barrage. If that doesn't work after a couple hours, then I guess I could switch to just running around resummoning and chipping away at his health bar with the summons and and occasional ride-by hit.

I used Rotten Breath incantation and then stayed back, summmoning the summons from time to time. I finished the battle after 3 tries!

I,ll have to remember to keep a eye on my summons so he quits one shooting me cause they all died,got to be like you shoot a little and run and look for summons to replace the ones that die,patience isn’t one of my best virtues but it looks like the right way to do it,thx

doesn't work for me, what tends to happen after the third time they die most of the "gold" summons start appearing under the sand and you can no longer summon them. unsure whether it's a bug, or intended.... but it always seems to work out that way no matter what i do. Also i've learned never to try to use a normal longbow on horseback, lock on, means i shoot in a different direction unless i aim dead on. again, bug -intended? who knows.

This strat worked! One small change though, instead of using runes for intelligence needed for the bow, just use Rock Sling instead! Works the same though I'm positive the bow does more damage!!

I had radahn 2 shot as a melee build my first time around, didn't even realize you could summon helpers lol... Somehow I found it even harder with the summons because I kept on getting hit by his arrows. Prolly cause I was on the horse lmao. I'm actually respec'd to a mage primarily now so I might have to give it another shot with the bow spell. When I used it for the first time I actually thought "damn this would've been good for radahn" 🤣

Amazing video 🤗, I kept my allies up and used this strength weapon that fires projectiles. Cause I I'm not able to use the bow. I'm pretty much a mele brute 😂🤣😅.

Make sure you pressure him with ranged attacks when he has the boulders out to finish him off before he launches the final set of rocks!

Its cool that there's a lot of ways to succeed in this game but imo the best way to tackle fights in these games are to kill them as fast as you can. Using bleed weapons while he is distracted with the summons will be much more effective.

Oh wow. I tried the bow on my first run and just watched him casually dodging 5 shots in a row so I dropped the strat. I guess I was just very unlucky, will try this one again.

I'm pretty sure this is what the people who designed the fight had in mind. I mean this is basically how I did it but I attacked until I pulled aggro then just booked it. It felt like that is how the game wanted you to do it considering the arena design and the lore.

What if you don't have a build that allows for spells like that? Bow and arrows hardly do shit to him. And he was killing the summons faster than I could revive them, which meant he would target me and one shot me.

for those of you with a glass cannon dex or str build like me, keep the summons up as much as possible, especially alexander, he's your tank, then stay on your horse and do hit and runs, get a couple hits in and leave again, dont stay close because he WILL two shot you, managed to do it with this tactic

I defeated him on my 2nd try once I found all the summoning and resummoning locations while on my horse

I can't seem to get it to work. The summons either die before I can get to the healer and he's already targeting me. Died like 30 times in a row. Can't get past this guy no matter what on 2 characters. Stuck, can't progress.

Also, roll forward into his attacks.

Beat radahn first try at level 36 with this strat. Fairly id beat him on my other samurai save file so i knew his attack strings but nonetheless great strat.

I also have a bit of a stratagy it being when he gets to half health i resummon some 9f the guys and run to the beach so he dies instantly

I killed him last night, i did not use the summons, i wanted it to be 1-1.. Level 23 and just used a dagger. Once you know his fighting pattern you can do this without getting hit once. I also took an arrow to the knee

note you need 26 int to use the bow, I got here with 15 int so I couldn't use the bow.

Do the summons stop working after a while. I couldn't see anyone to summon after second phase.

So basically, play support and continually rez your party and wait for it to work itself out? It's untraditional, and i like it.

For me, when he was 5-10% healt left and my summons died i did not found anyone expect maidens to summon and died because of that

It also depends on who u have avail as spawns

I played a strength build with the guts greatsword with heavy tiger's claw ashes and i kept chunking him and killed him first try
