Dry pouring concrete is by far the easiest way for the DIY'er to get the project done. Especially if you only have a couple people.

Hi! We're Nick and Jen, a retired military veteran of 14 years and professional dancer/entertainer at Coyote Ugly Bar. Together, we decided to sell everything and break free of the glitz, glam and chaos of city life to move off gird. We live on our 20 acres of remote land in the mountains of Southern Utah.
We’re trying to be as self sufficient as possible by installing all our own utilities and doing everything DIY with as much modern technology as can make happen. Living off grid is about the freedom to build our own path one plank at a time. Life, indeed, is Elevated Off Grid. Come along and see what life is like as we continue to build our property and adventure around Southern Utah's mountains.

I owned a sign shop for 20 years. Installed many billboards. Dry pours will get brittle in time :-(. There’s just a better chemical reaction when you mix it first. If you put a layer of gravel before you set your post It won’t hold water around the post. It will run through to the gravel and the post will last a lot longer :-). Some things it just better to go the extra time and work. I don’t think I have ever seen dry pour instructions on a bag of concrete 🤔. I see you did a good job chopping it with your shovel. Good luck 👍.

In Australia we use a cement called rapid set. Wet the hole first then add the rapid set cement. Works well. Best of luck.

poles looking good. No burning ends (show-shoe-gie-bon) before going in ground? Maybe don't need too since cedar?

What kind of water pump do you use. How well does it pump your water from your water tank in this video? My camper water pump went out and looking to buy a new water pump.

Just FYI dry pouring concrete results in a very weak concrete. I watched a guy test the two in a press and the dry pour was pathetic.

Isn’t dry pour when you use no water that’s how it’s been done in Michigan

Hate to say it, but your pole supports, are not very effective without nailing, or screwing them to not just the pole but to a stake driven in at the support foot. Sure wish you had of burned the ends of the poles to preserve them! I'm guessing the pallets are for the floor, and the sides.
