This video shows how you can repair a none working D-Pad on an Xbox One, Xbox Series S & Xbox Series X controller. The D-Pad, also called the directional pad uses a conductive film for the buttons. This film is known to go bad, which causes the D-Pad to stop working. There are many of these controllers with this issue and this is the most inexpensive way to fix it. The conductive pad usually costs 4-6 dollars. I show how to remove and replace the film in the video. Since there are already a ton of videos showing how to disassemble these controllers I will not be covering that in the video.
