The Striker is bad ass. You will love it. I know I love mine. I agree on his sheaths. My first TKELL knife was the Raider and with his sheath you can't even tell your're wearing it. I couldn't decide between the Raider or Striker but went with the Raider but ordered the Striker a few months later and been carrying both. Awesome knives

The one shown in the video with the short line is just barely long enough to allow it to sit in the pocket, much shorter I’d be afraid it wouldn’t quite sit all the way in your pocket but you could definitely shorten it if you’d like.

Agreed 100% it’s great for pocket. 550 cord around your neck is a scary proposition 🤣.

I run some bead chain through a decored length of paracord sleeve. Trim to size. Connect the chain. Then lightly melt the paracord ends together over top of the bead-lock. All the benefits of both materials, with a breakaway weight of about 5 lbs. 👍💯

No they are kydex, which is made from pure polymers. So no glass strengtheners added.

There’s a section on the website about the sheaths, but yes they are kydex. They are pretty different, the quality, and retention of my sheaths is something we’re known for also.

@@TkellKnives That would be nice and you may want to put what thickness you use too. There are a variety of Spyderco fixed blades that are nice quality knives and yet their sheaths are cheaply made and rattle. They're not cheap either. Why they do that I don't know. I've read many reviews how people are ticked off about that after spending good money for the knife, they have to find a quality sheath for them and pay extra money to another sheath dealer. Matter of fact I'm in the process of returning one of their fixed blades because the sheath is bad.

That’s unfortunate. Will be releasing more Knives, January 1, 2024. I can only make so many knives in guaranteed quality stay at a lifetime warranty level. I have been running 5 miles a day and I find that my hands are just so sweaty even in the cold that I wanted a solid fixed blade for my left hand to easily grab and retain under stress, duress, sweat, rain, grease etc. to leave my dominant hand free for the rooty tooty point and shooty. I have been carrying a SpiderCo Karahawk pocket folder karambit and the ring allows rapid, stupid easy deployment, but I just do not trust my offhand enough to manipulate a folder even with the near auto opening of the Emerson hook. Ideally the knife I want does not seem to exist and I have only recently wanted a fixed blade offhand "ring handle" (tactical ring?) knife. I need something that is lightweight to ultra light weight, salty sweat proof, around 2-4 ish ounces, yet has a nice sized blade that can do work. The SpiderCo Karahawk at 3 ounces, while an amazing pocket folder that folds up into a tiny package, has a very small hookbill blade. I have been even checking on some of those old out of production MTech blade designs, while the metal is very heavy brick junk, the designs are sometimes right on the money. I am a hook ring handle belieber now, and weight just means so more to me now than ever before. Gotta go fast. How do I commission the ultra light carbon fiber edition? I am pretty sure your designs are perfect and I am in love with them, just need to trim some weight. Every ounce counts.

I don’t recommend it I just said it was an option with the already attached lanyard. I have several other videos discussing why necklace carry isn’t advisable because it’s difficult to develop muscle memory with a non stationary object.

@@TkellKnives that's my exact price with it , also depending on the length of the necklace it's just to far up shirt to reliably grab, I personally use a clip and a static retention cored just in case the clip comes off
