East German Leather Enlisted Men's Belts 

A small correction, with the earliest belt I give a speculative date of early to mid 1960s, what I meant to say was mid 1950s to early/mid 1960s.

To what extent did the Soviet Union dictate the weaponry, gear, etc. of its satellite states? Where was the line drawn between war material types dictated by Moscow and that which was left to local discretion?

Wish I could find them in fat American sizes, communists should’ve thought of us when designing them
