Class 153 was made from splitting 1 class 155 and adding the smallest cab in the world after steam trains but a diffent train was gunna be built and I’m glad class 153 was build insted as it will look more weird if class 152 was being built aka half a class 156 and there was a nuther train befor class 156 it was a class 151 but it was a prototype

@transportationuk7656 152 was MEANT TO BE a single car 156 that never happened and they instead split 35 155s to make 153s. 154 was a modified 150 used to test bits, IIRC they tested things like the air con for the 158s on it. Returned to 150 spec. 157 was meant to be an upgrade over 156s for the Strathclyde area, again never happened.
