On a fairly warm autumn day, Penn Rail Videos set out to capture the East Penn Railroad's local freight that runs up to Emmaus Junction and return. Luck would be on our side, as we were informed that they were in fact running north to Emmaus to bring back 8 loaded boxcars. We'll watch the ex-CR GP10 #7554 (built as a GP9 for New York Central) shuffle some cars around Brown Printing, then we'll move into East Greenville and from there follow the train on its northward journey. Once picking up cars in Emmaus, we'll follow the train back south. A feature location on this railroad is the Dillingersville tunnel, which is one of eight the Reading Railroad had on its entire system. If you like the sound of first generation diesels, then this video is the perfect combination, with 7554s Leslie A-200 "blat" horn on the short hood.
