It’s time for Peggy Mitchell’s Funeral and Grant secretly shows up. Part Five 4th July 2016 All rights go to BBC Worldwide. No money is being made from this and no copyright infringement intended.
These bug bully loud mouthed blokes who as often as not treated their mother like garbage, suddenly go all mummy's boy and cry like babies when mum is finally laid to rest. That soft side if you want to look at it that way, would have served her better, if they'd shown even an ounce of love and care towards her when she was still alive.
If it wasn’t for Roxy getting hooked on drugs. Then Ronnie would still be alive. She pretty much killed herself with the amount of coke she took and then when she hit the water and got a cold water shock induced heart attack that was it. If she hadn’t took any of the drugs and then she might still have been alive and Ronnie wouldn’t have drowned trying to save her. There’s also the fact that Roxy always held Ronnie back their whole lives. She was selfish, spoiled and conceited and always made things worse. She got involved with an abusive drug dealer who was also her fiancé when they first came on the square, she slept with Jack and had his baby, she abandoned Ronnie when she went to prison and turned against Ronnie when it was revealed that Archie had abused her when they were children.
@@blackphantasm8478 You know Ronnie wasn't a saint either; her crimes could be viewed as worse than Roxy's. she was a Murderer and Child snatcher. They both had issues. But that didn't mean Roxy's life should be treated as an afterthought. She was an addict and she tried to straighten out but ultimately couldn't. Max was the one who gave her the drugs. Funerals aren't even about the dead- they're dead and beyond caring. Funerals are for the living, a chance to find closure and say goodbye. Roxy had her problems but she still had people who loved and cared about her- they should have had a chance to say goodbye.
@@JoeyXSmith I wasn't aware of this, they canceled EastEnders in the states, or at least in the new york area,is the actress that played dot still alive?
Because he was not happy with Phil who helped Peggy to die. He refused to show up because he saw this as Phil killing his mum and didn't want to show he approved of it by showing up to the funeral. However, the real reason is Ross Kemp wasn't available on the day they filmed the funeral, so the clip of him watching from a distance is edited in.
@@shanefolan You might be right, my memory is a bit hazy as well. But maybe Grant didn't know at this point that Phil didn't go through with it. But the real reason is that Ross Kemp wasn't available for the day they shot the funeral and they had to insert a clip of him in, so he couldn't interact with any of the cast.
