EastEnders - Phil Reads Peggy's Goodbye Letter To Him 

in my opinion this is the saddest Eastenders scene. Loved Barbara.

Poor Phil. This was a moving, yet emotional scene to see. Steve McFadden is a brilliant actor and I am so glad he got the Lifetime Achievement award this year. He truly deserved it for all of his outstanding hard work.

Remember watching this at time. I hadn't watched Eastenders in years but me and my wife cried like hell. What gets me is after he reads it he looks up at the sky and silently calls out "Mum"

Such a sad scene , I cannot imagine my life without my mum , my best friend in the whole world, I’ve already lost my dad , and I know for sure I will never get over it if anything happens to mum

It really shows phil has a sensitive side to him it gets me every time as I know how he feels losing a loved one as lost my mum back in 2020 at 57

Phil you’re surrounded by people who could love you just try to love yourself as much as they do as I did because I always loved you from the moment I first held you in my arms my gorgeous boy my first best boy. RIP Peggy 1932-2020 🪦

I always wondered why Steve mcfadden didn't go to America, he's a better actor than Jason statham and that's a fact

Phil is a great character and Steve an amazing actor. This is truly heartbreaking especially as Barbara is no longer with us 😢😞

I think this was a better episode than the one when she actually died
