Yep, Shirley and Peggy always had a great bond. I don’t think they’ve had any troubles had she been her daughter in law, unlike Sharon. I noticed that Peggy rarely called characters by their name when she returned . That was some subtle genius on the producer’s part because of her brain cancer 👏👏👏😃😃😃
Even though there wasn’t much talking/catching up in her goodbye episodes, just imagine the laughs and catch ups she had behind the scenes and I can imagine it would’ve been so emotional for everyone and especially her walking of set for the last ever time 😢
